4th Quarter Surge Gives Eagles the Win
May 12, 2026 - IRONDEQUOIT-13 at HONEOYE FALLS-LIMA-12 - The Eagles scored four consecutive goals to open the fourth quarter and take a 13-10 lead, but had to hold off a late rally by the Cougars to seal the victory.
Ellie Bottiglier (3g/3a), Lila Velepec (3g/1a), and Lucy Whipple (3g) led the scoring for Irondequoit; for Lila Velepec, her first goal of the game was the 50th of her career. Ellie Bottiglier led the team with six draw controls and three caused turnovers. Rylee Conlon added two goals. Revlie Genier had three assists. Mia Conine made 10 saves in the win, including her 100th save of the season. The Eagles conclude their regular season with a record of 13-3.
Leading the scoring for HF-L (11-4) were Harper Jacob (3g/1a), Shaye Angelo (3g/2a), and Greta Goodberlet (3g). Cameron McRae finished with two goals. Shaye Angelo corralled a game-high 11 draw controls.
