Mercy Advances to B Quarters
May 19, 2026 - GATES CHILI-3 at MERCY-17 - The fifth-seeded Monarchs continue on to the class B quarterfinal round to face No. 4 Canandaigua. There were no statistics reported from Gates Chili (7-9) at post time.
Leading the scoring for Mercy were Sydney Cook (1g/5a), Avery Parrinello (3g/1a), Mia Quagrello (3g/1a), and seventh-grader Carmela Rizzo (3g/1a). Mia Quagrello also corralled 10 draw controls, Maeve Shanahan recorded five draw controls and four ground balls. In goal, Juliette Lana and Elinor Meyer combined for six saves.
