Bailey Cooper leads Mustangs to Championship
June 2, 2026 - PAL-MAC-2 at PENN YAN-19 - The Mustangs won their eighth straight game and their fourth consecutive class D sectional championship.
Bailey Cooper led the scoring for No. 1 Penn Yan (17-1) with six goals and two assists; she also recorded a game-high 14 draw controls. Addison Gillette and Makenna Mullins each added three goals. Lila Hansen and Miley Anderson scored two goals apiece.
Teagan Hudak and Baylee Vilord each scored for No. 2 Pal-Mac. The Red Raiders finish their season with a record of 13-5.
With the win, the Mustangs advance to the sub-regional round of the NYS tournament where they will face Eden (VI) on Thursday.
