Victor on to the Finals
June 12, 2026 - VICTOR-17 at QUEENSBURY-8 - In dispatching their opponents from Queensbury (II), the Blue Devils won their seventh straight game, and are now in a position to earn their fifth straight NYS class B title Saturday when they take on Garden City (VIII) in a rematch of last season's final game.
Leading the scoring for Victor (18-4) was Meaghan O'Brien (3g/4a). Carlina DiFondi and Gianna Hedden each had three goals and an assist; for Gianna Hedden, her third goal of the game was the 50th of her career. Abigail Houghton scored the first goal of her varsity career. Ninth-grader Winter Shull recorded a team- and career-high six draw controls.
