Ryan Wins Game with 0:12 Remaining

- Rachel Ryan scored her sixth goal to lift Hilton 13-12 over Brockport with only 0:12 remaining on the clock.  Ryan leads her team in goals, assists and points with 60g-19a. Brockport was led in scoring by Leah Daly with 7g-1a.  Daly also leads her team in goals and points with 44g-9a (Senior attackman Jasmyn Jessmer leads in assists with 31).

Brockport came out of the gate swinging and scored four unanswered goals in the first 10 minutes.  Daly scored two with Tori Lammes and Emma Moulton scoring the other two goals.  Hilton came back and tied the game in less than 3 minutes.  Payton Cook scored two with Ryan and Francesca Messura scoring one each.  Brockport's Christina Middleton scored an unassisted goal to put the Blue Devils back on top momentarily.  Hilton scored back to back goals in under a minute to take their first lead of the game 6-5 with 5:01 remaining in the first half.  The Blue Devils finished out the half with three more goals to retake the lead 8-6 going into halftime.

The second quarter was the opposite of the first with Hilton scoring the first four goals unassisted.  Ryan scored two with Hilderbrandt and Messura adding one each.  Although the Blue Devils kept up the fight, they never led again.  With 0:45 remaining in the game, Tori Lammes scored to tie the game at 12-12 with a shot on the crease.  Ryan's game winner was scored with 0:12 left on the clock.  The Cadets were able to run out the clock and keep Brockport from forcing overtime.

Nicole Piskorowski finished with four saves for Brockport.  At the draw control, Daly led her team with nine and Emma Moulton finished with four.  For the Cadets, Shaina Doser recorded eight saves between the pipes and Ryan led the draw control count with three.

Brockport was on a five game winning streak before tonight's contest.  However, with only three losses (9-3) the Blue Devils are still having a strong season.  Hilton also only has three losses and sit at 8-3 having won their last three contests.
