Geneva Claims Road Win 2025-05-10 - Geneva defeated Mynderse-Romulus 17-11 in Finger Lakes girls lacrosse action on Saturday. The Panthers took a 9-1 lead in the first quarter and cruised to the win.
Leading the offense for Geneva (9-1) were Allison Marquart (3g/5a) and Velia DeMaria (3g/3a). Meghan Forbes and Makenna Harris also scored three goals apiece. Teagan Cohrs added two goals and one assist, and Natalie Vedora had two goals. Ninth-grader Amelia Williams scored her first varsity goal in the game. In net, Maddie Askin registered eight saves while allowing eight goals for a 50% save rate in 45 minutes.
For Mynderse-Romulus (2-9), Myah Herron had eight goals, including the 150th of her varsity career.
