[UPDATED] The annual All-League Awards have been posted and are available on the player pages as well as the awards page.

The Finger Lakes League awarded first team awards to Reagan Diehl, Chelsea Korzeniewski, Anna Priebe, Jenna Santelli, Taryn Goodness, Sidney Clickner, Stella Del Papa, Lainie Forde, Colleen Ginsberg, Myah Herron, Madelyn Hillman, Teagan Hudak, Maci Mueller, Bailey Rossignol, Maddie Whitford, and Amelia Reese.

The Attack Player of the Year was Chelseas Korzaneski from Mynderse-Romulus. The Defender Player of the Year was Taryn Goodness from Pal-Mac. The Midfield Player of the Year was Maci Muller from Waterloo who was also named Finger Lakes Player of the Year. The Head Coach of the Year was E.J. Burse (Pal-Mac).

The USA Lacrosse All-Americans were Molly Guzik (Spencerport), Hanna Davis (Canandaigua), Devin Livingston (Victor), Ella Peers (Fairport) and  Reagan Diehl (Pal-Mac. The All-Academics were Lucy Lederman (Brighton), Angelia Oechsle (Rush-Henrietta), Katie Mallaber (Fairport), and Allie Chimenti ((Wayne).

The Monroe County League first team D-1 awards to Katie Mallaber, Madison Van Gorder, Lilly Mattucci, Jenna Capozzi, Peyton Rothfuss, Cecily Kaul, Dani Mooney, Angelia Oechsle, Catrina Rowe, Danielle Garrett, Kate Dewald, Abby Murphy, Allie Pisano, Julia Bruno, Maia Pronti, Ryann Savage, Lucy Ruller, and Mia Estelle.

The D-1 Defensive Player of The Year was Devin Livingston (Victor). The D-1 Offensive Player of The Year was Ella Peers (Fairport) and the Coach of the Year was Dave York (Penfield).

The Monroe County League awarded first team D-2 awards to Zoe Baase, Caroline Lyttle, Hanna Davis, Leah Sheridan, Nola Weaver, Campbell Hewlett, Paige Kidd, Shaye Angelo, Ali Baumgartner, Ella Brennan, Emma Francis, Alyssa Nichols, Brooke Endres, and Molly Meyer.

The D-2 Defensive Player of The Year was Rose Heagney (Canandaigua). The D-2 Offensive Player of The Year was Molly Guzik (Spencerport) and the Coach of the Year was Kevin O`Connell (HFL) who was also selected as the Monroe County Coach of the Year.

The Independent teams also selected awards in 2024. First teams awards went to Mia Lusardi, Krista Harnischfeger, Elinor Meyer, Marina Reddington, Emma Kravetz, Savannah Hinchcliffe, Brynn Henry, Kessa Sangasy, Ada Krupa, Jill Willis, Erica Savage, and Mara Misiurewicz. The Independent Player of the Year was Mia Quagrello (Mercy).

# 699  Canandaigua and Victor win Close 7-6 Games
WAYNE-3 at MERCY-18 - Twelve different players scored goals for Mercy (8-9) including Lydia Malvaso (2g-3a), Mia Quagrello (2g-2a), and Evelyn McAuliffe (3g). Scoring for Wayne (10-8) were Megan Montgomery (1g), Lauren Twist (1a), Isabella Veltre (1g), and Madelyn Hillman (1g).  Mercy will play HFL on Wednesday for the Class C Championship.       [ BOX SCORE]   - - More images in the photo gallery.

EASTRIDGE/BK-8 at HONEOYE FALLS-LIMA-20 -  Eight different players scored goals for Honeoye Falls-Lima (9-9) including sophomore attacker Shaye Angelo (4g-2a), senior attacker Camryn Trybuskiewicz (3g-3a), junior midfielder Rylee Bennett (5g), and sophomore defender Anna DeClerck (2g). Cougar senior goalie Lily Brady recorded 5s/4ga = 56% (36 mins). There was no report from Eastridge/BK (11-6) at post-time.  HFL will play Mercy on Wednesday for the Class C Championship.      [ BOX SCORE] 

BRIGHTON-6 at VICTOR-7 -  The closely matched teams tied numerous times, scoring two goals each in the first and second quarters. Victor took a one goal lead after three quarters but Brighton tied it up again in the last stanza. Libby Boland scored her lone goal with fifty-three second left in regulation to send the Blue Devils to the Championship game against Canandaigua on Wednesday. Leading the scoring for Victor (15-3) were Devin Livingston (3g), Maia Pronti (1a), Allie Pisano (1a), Morgan Livingston (1g), Camryn Adrid (1g), and Libby Boland (1g). In the goal for Victor was senior Maggie Allen with 6s/4ga = 60% (48 mins). Scoring for Brighton (9-9) were Riley Lawrence (2g), Lucy Lederman (3g), Ireland Mistretta (1g), and Alexandra Madison (2a).        [ BOX SCORE] 

SPENCERPORT-6 at CANANDAIGUA-7 - In the other semifinal Class B game, top seeded Canandaigua edged out Spencerport (#4) by a one goal margin. Scoring for the Rangers were Molly Guzik (2g), Brooke Endres (3g), and Aria Pittman (1g). Guzik ends her scholastic career with 166g-124a in five years on the Varsity. She will move on to Syracuse University in the fall.   There was no report from Canandaigua (16-2) at post-time but the Grey Wolves will play Victor for the Class B Championship on Wednesday.      [ BOX SCORE]

# 693  Penfield, Hilton, and HFL Win by One Goal
THOMAS-8 at HONEOYE FALLS-LIMA-9 - This was a close game with the Cougars taking the first quarter lead into the 4-2 half. Thomas got one goal closer in the third and the two teams each scored three in the last quarter. Senior goalie Lily Brady (9s/7ga = 56% - 48 mins) reached her 400th career save in the game and was supported in the offense by Shaye Angelo (4g-1a), Paige Kidd (4g), and 8th grade midfielder Harper Jacob (1g-1a). The Cougars (7-8) travel to Penn Yan on Thursday. Leading the scoring for Thomas were Harper Blakley (3a), Hannah Ruller (3g), and Mia Estelle (2g).          [ BOX SCORE] 

PITTSFORD-9 at VICTOR-15 - The Blue Devils saw scoring from  Devin Livingston (4g-2a), Morgan Livingston (4g), Allie Pisano (3g) and  Libby Boland (2g-2a). Victor ends their regular season at 13-3 and a win streak of eight. There was no report from Pittsford (7-9) at post-time.          [ BOX SCORE] 

PENFIELD-8 at IRONDEQUOIT-7 - The Patriots extended their win streak to six win (12-4) and saw Senior attacker Emersyn Mathis (1g-1a) reached her 50th career assist. Also making an impact were Jenna Capozzi (3g), Peyton Rothfuss (2g), and Whitney Reynolds (2g). Leading the scoring for Irondequoit (9-7) were 8th grade offensive player Lucy Whipple (1g-2a), Freshman Ellie Bottiglier (2g), Senior attacker Ella Brennan (2g-2a), and Senior midfielder Madelyn Thore (1g). In the goal for Irondequoit was junior Emma Francis with 9s/5ga = 64% (48 mins).          [ BOX SCORE] 

GANANDA-MARION-6 at MYNDERSE-ROMULUS-17 - The Blue Devils finished their regular season at 9-7 and celebrated Senior midfielder Jackie Sinicropi (3g-4a) who reached her 50th career goal. Junior attacker Chelsea Korzeniewski scored five goals and two assists, and Senior midfielder Jackie Sinicropi added three goals and four assists while Junior offensive player Amelia Reese finished with three goals and two assists.  Gananda-Marion saw goals from Senior midfielder Colleen Ginsberg (4g-1a), and Sophomore midfielder Lexi Gallina (1g-1a).       [ BOX SCORE] 

PAL-MAC-21 at LIVONIA-AVON-7 - Pal Mac finished their regular season at 12-4 and with a winning streak of five game. Pal-Mac Sophomore midfielder Teagan Hudak reached her 200th career draw controls and Laker Sophomore attacker Lily Rowe reached her 100th career draw control in the game. Among the leaders in scoring for Pal-Mac were Teagan Hudak (4g-3a), Anna Priebe (5g-1a), and Reagan Diehl (3g-1a). Leading the scoring for Livonia-Avon (9-6) were Lily Rowe (5g-2a), Maddie Whitford (2g-1a), and Sidney Clickner (1a).        [ BOX SCORE] 

WAYNE-10 at GENEVA-6 -  Wayne won their first game against Geneva behind the efforts of Isabella Veltre (2g-4a), Madelyn Hillman (2g-2a), and Anabelle Ruffell (2g). Wayne senior goalie Mimi Ugalde made 11s/6ga = 65% (48 mins). Geneva goalie Maddie Askin (11s/10ga = 52% - 48 mins) reached her 300th career save while on the other end of the field Isabella Bonventre had four goals, and Meghan Forbes had four assists,        [ BOX SCORE] 

HILTON-12 at AQUINAS-11 - Hilton (5-11) surprised Aquinas (8-7) with a one goal win using scoring by Lilly Mattucci (2g-3a), Elena Graziano (3g-1a), Ryleigh Lent (2g-2a), and Charley Barlette (3g). Aquinas saw scoring from  Brynn Henry (4g-3a), Savannah Hinchcliffe (4g), and Marilena Diaz (1g). BROCKPORT-7 at EASTRIDGE/BK-16 - Leading the scoring for Eastridge/BK (9-5) were sophomore midfielder Kayla Gerson (5g-1a), senior midfielder Ashley Mandeville (3g-3a), senior midfielder Jillian Willis (4g-1a), and junior midfielder Ada Krupa (4g).  There was no report from Brockport (5-11) at post-time.         [ BOX SCORE] 

GREECE STORM-19 at MARCUS WHITMAN-12 - Greece Junior Ellie Lombardo (1g-1a) scored her first Varsity goal as The Storm saw scoring from Erica Savage (3g-5a), Mara Misiurewicz (7g), Emma Carlson (4g-2a), and Emma Dioguardi (3g-2a). Sophia Snyder (6g), Holland Benge (4g), and Helen Snyder (2a) made the book for the Wildcats who will finish their regular season at Livonia-Avon. NEWARK-MIDLAKES-7 at WATERLOO-19 -  Waterloo extended their winning streak to five wins (11-4) and have one more game before Sectionals. They will host Geneva on Thursday. Sophomore midfielder Maci Mueller (8g-4a) reached her 150th career goal her 50th career assist in the game. Seniors Lainie Forde and Giana Delucia each had four goals. In the goal for Waterloo was Freshman Peyton Lyons with 7s/6ga = 54% (36 mins), and Junior Brigit Bowman with 2s/1ga = 67% (12 mins). # 650  Penn Yan and Waterloo Both Win by One Goal
PENN YAN-7 at IRONDEQUOIT-6 - The Mustangs edged the Eagles in another close match.  Bailey Cooper had five goals and one assist for Penn Yan.  For Irondequoit, Ellie Bottiglier and Grace Bottiglier each had two goals.  Eighth-grader Lucy Whipple also had two goals, including the first of her varsity career.  The Mustangs resume play on Friday, when they visit Corning (IV).  The Eagles next play on April 10 at Churchville-Chili.   [ BOX SCORE] - - More images in the photo gallery.

RUSH-HENRIETTA-16 at THOMAS-0 - The Royal Comets enjoyed a successful season opener, led by the scoring of junior Danielle Garrett (4g/3a), sophomore Kate DeWald (4g/1a), ninth-grader Emma DeWald (3g), and sophomore Riley Brown (3g).  Kate DeWald also collected nine draw controls, including the 100th of her career.  On April 4, Rush-Henrietta travels to West Genesee to play a team to be determined, and Thomas visits Pittsford.    [ BOX SCORE] 

MARCUS WHITMAN-3 at PAL-MAC-19 - Of the nine different players who scored for the Red Raiders, five scored their first Varsity goal: Anabelle Grant, Kenzie Miller, Claire Nolan, Brinn Castrechini and  Lia Donaher. Sophomore Aliysiah Clark scored her first Varsity goal for Marcus Whitman.     [ BOX SCORE] 

SPENCERPORT-12 at HONEOYE FALLS-LIMA-6 - Spencerport defeated HFL this evening in HFL by a score of 12-6.   Molly Guzik led the Rangers with 4 goals, 4 assists and 8 Draw Controls, while Share Angelo (3g) was the leading scorer for the Cougars.  Spencerport carried a slim 5-4 lead into the half but pulled away in the final two frames to double up the Cougars by games end.     [ BOX SCORE] 

PENFIELD-6 at VICTOR-14 - Penfield fell short in its contest against last year’s class B champions.  Allie Pisano (4g/1a), Devin Livingston (4g/1a), Julia Bruno (3g/1a), and Maia Pronti (4a) provided the lion’s share of the scoring for Victor.  There were no statistics reported from Penfield at post time. .Both teams have non-league contests against section II opponents next week; Penfield hosts Bethlehem on April 1, and Victor travels to Saratoga Springs on April 4.    [ BOX SCORE] 

CANANDAIGUA-21 at BROCKPORT-1 - The Canandaigua Gray Wolves travelled to Brockport this evening to open their season with a 21-1 victory.  Hanna Davis (4g-2a), Samantha Lupton (5g-1a), and Leah Sheridan (4g-2a) each tallied 6 points in the convincing win.  Zoe Baase scored the lone goal for Brockport while Goalie Jessica Maher notched 10 saves.  Brockport will try to shake off the loss tomorrow against Gananda-Marion, while Canandaigua will wait a week before their next contest when they will visit Mercy on 4/3.    [ BOX SCORE] 

FAIRPORT-11 at BRIGHTON-7 - Fairport opened its season in defense of its class A title with a win at Brighton.  Lily Kondas (5g) and Katie Mallaber (3g) led the Red Raiders’ attack, while Taylor Frank made nine saves.  For the Bruins, Ella Brunette and Alexandra Madison had two goals apiece.  On April 1, Fairport has a non-league matchup against Cicero-North Syracuse (III).  Brighton plays next on April 12, when they host Victor.     [ BOX SCORE] 

GREECE STORM-11 at WATERLOO-12 - In a tightly contested match, the Warriors prevailed, earning head coach Matthew VanDamme his first varsity win.  For Waterloo, Maci Mueller scored seven goals, Lainie Forde chipped in four goals, and sophomore Bailey Rossignol notched her first career goal.  Mara Misiurewicz scored five goals and Ava Torrence recorded 12 saves for the Storm.  Both teams are off until April 10, when Waterloo hosts Mynderse-Romulus and Greece hosts Brockport.    [ BOX SCORE]

strong>DAY IN REVIEW: SATURDAY - Both Victor and Fairport won their NYSPHSAA Championships at Hofstra University today. For Fairport it was their first title as they won in double overtime, It was a repeat for Victor who won in 2022.
