inger Lakes end of season awards come in with 25 First and 24 Second Team All County Players.  There are also 20 Honorable Mention Players.  In addition, there were 2 All Americans and 2 Academic All Americans.  As well as Defense Player of the Year, a Midfield Player of the Year and an Attack Player of the Year.

ection Five swept Section Six in the State Quarter Finals.  Canandaigua defeated Hamburg 16-6, HFL defeated Lake Shore 16-12, Pal-Mac defeated East Aurora 17-0 and Pittsford defeated Frontier 15-1.  The Panthers and Red Raiders also won the Boys Western Regional Championships and both schools with have 2 teams in thate State Semi-Finals.

t the conclusion of the Class D Tournament, the All Tournament Team was announced.  The Team consists of the top 13 players in the Class D Tournament this year.  There are 12 regular spots and an MVP spot.

# 292  Semi-Final Match-ups
The Semi-Final matches will be played over the next two days.  In all four tournaments that top 4 seeds advanced to the semi-finals. Class B and Class D will play on May 26th at Pittsford Sutherland and Eastridge. Class A and Class C will play on May 27th at HFL and Schroeder.

After the first night of games, both #1 seeds were defeated by the #4 seeds.  Penn Yan avenged their earlier loss in the regular season with a 13-6 win over top seeded Waterloo and Thomas avenged their overtime loss to Brighton in the regular season with an 8-6 win.  The #2 seeds (Canandaigua and Pal-Mac) both advanced.  The Braves will face the Titans and the Red Raiders will face the Mustangs on Tuesday May 30th.

he last three games of the regular season were played today.  Canandaigua over Hilton 9-8 was the closest game.  Marcus Whitman defeated Gananda 10-8 and Ath/Ody defeated Eastridge 13-6.  With the season completed,final seeding for Sectionals has been announced.

# 272  Glagolev Leads Thomas to Victory
homas scored the first eight goals in their 13-10 win over Pal-Mac.  The Titans Emily Glagolev finished with 4g-1a and a team leading 10 draw controls.  She was one of the major factors in the win, making her presence known on offense and defense.  Her dominance at the draws caused the Red Raiders to double her at the circle.  That gave Gabriella Vasile free reign on the far side to win four draws herself.  The possession control helped the Titans control the pace of the game.

There were eleven matches tonight in Section Five.  The closest match-up was Gates Chili over Ath/Ody 16-15.  Canandaigua defeated Schroeder in a two goal contest 11-9 and Aquinas defeated Penn Yan 9-7.  Additional scores included, Pittsford over Marcellus 14-10, Churchville-Chili over Brockport 14-6, Pal-Mac over Penfield 18-7, Spencerport over Lake Shore 22-10, Gananda over Newark 7-4, Mynderse over East Rochester 15-6, Brighton over Victor 10-3 and Fairport over Irondequoit 14-5.

ith 14 games scheduled tonight, it was one of the biggest nights of the year.  Most games were one sided; however, HFL defeated Irondequoit 7-6 and Fairport defeated Victor 7-4.  Additional scores were Penfield over Oly/Arc 16-3, Waterloo over East Rochester 17-8, Mynderse over Newark 16-6, Brighton over Brockport 19-1, Canandaigua over Eastridge 20-1, Pittsford over Thomas 11-5, Spencerport over Schroeder 14-4, Penn Yan over Gananda 20-3, Marcus Whitman over Midalkes 19-8 and Pal-Mac over Wayne 18-1.

# 250  Arnold Leads Pal-Mac
al-Mac scored the first 11 goals in their 14-3 win over Waterloo.  Sophomore Emma Arnold had a standout game for the Red Raiders.  She finished with 4g-2a, 4 draw controls, 5 ground balls and 1 caused turnover.  She was also a key defensive player in the game.  Between the pipes, Sophia Leva also had a strong game for Pal-Mac, she recorded 6 saves and had 3 interceptions when she left the pipes.

Victor came back in the second half to defeat Webster Thomas 10-8.  Rush-Henrietta came out strong in the first half to defeat HFL 10-5.  Waterloo defeated East Rochester 12-3, Spencerport defeated Arc/Oly 16-7 and Pal-Mac defeated Amherst 11-2.  No score has been reported for Pittsford vs. Corning or Penfield vs. CBA.

al-Mac defeated Wayne 14-6 with ten different Red Raiders scoring at least one goal and twelve making the offensive scorebook.  Leading the charge was junior attackman Anna Leva with 3g-2a.  Leva lead Pal-Mac is both assists and points with 19g-31a (Pal-Mac Season Totals).  The Eagles were led by junior midfielder Mary Panepento with 3g-1a.  In addition to their offensive leader, goalie Rachel Haywood finished the game with 9 saves and played a strong game between the pipes at 50% over 44 minutes.

Irondequoit's Kierston Pease (2g-1a) and Celina Alvarado (2g-2a) were instrumental in the Eagles 6-5 victory over Pal-Mac.  Pease and Alvardo scored the first four goals to take control of the game.

# 18  2015 All-Greater Rochester
The 2015 All Greater Rochester list was published at the end of the season and Webster Thomas senior Emily Resnick was named the 2015 Player of the Year by the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle.  All told, sixteen players were noted on the list.  Leading the charge were players from Churchville Chili, Victor, Pittsford and Irondequoit with two players each.
