There were five scheduled games tonight.  Canandaigua defeated Spencerport 8-6 in the closest match-up.  Hilton defeated Wayne 17-1 and in out of town matchups, Pittsford defeated Vestal 17-6, Mercy defeated Lancaster 17-14 and Rush-Henrietta defeated West Genesee 14-9.

Tuesday of Break Week

There were five more games tonight in the 2nd day of break week.  Mercy's 14-13 overtime win vs. Victor was the closest match-up of the night.  Also, Pittsford defeated HFL 9-8 and Eastridge defeated Wayne 7-6 in a single goal games.  Additional scores were Suffern over Irondequoit 11-8 and Fairport over Hilton 16-10.

Mercy Has Strong 2nd Half in Win over Pal-Mac

Mercy dominated the second half to defeat Pal-Mac 13-9.  The Monarchs scored 9 of the last 11 goals in the contest to come back from a three goal deficit.  The main difference in the second half was ball-time.  Mercy picked up the draw controls in the second half and denied the Red Raiders the ball. Leading in draw controls for Mercy was Karli Harnischfeger with 5.

Four games were played tonight.  Pittsford defeated Suffern 9-1, Mercy defeated Geneva 17-7 and Penfield defeated HFL 11-6.  Victor played Fayetteville-Manlius; however, the score is not currently reported.

Sherwood's Feeds Give Irondequoit the Win

Erika Sherwood finished with four assists in Irondequoit's 7-6 win over Mercy tonight.  Sherwood was the driving force behind the come from behind win.  The Monarchs took an early 4-1 lead in the first half before the Eagles scored four unanswered goals (three assisted by Sherwood) to take the 5-4 lead less than 3 minutes into the second half.  The Eagles continued to play solid defense and not take too many chances and held off Mercy's late attempts to tie the game.
