Thomas got one goal closer in the third and the two teams each scored three in the last quarter. # 690  CA Ends Undefeated Season in One Goal Loss
strong>DAY IN REVIEW: SATURDAY - Canandaigua (13-1) ended their undefeated season at the hands of South Jefferson (Section III) in a one goal game that ended 8-7. Pal Mac Head Coach E.J. Burse won his 200th game when the Red Raiders defeated East Aurora. Thomas won on the road, defeated Liverpool 13-11.

BALDWINSVILLE-3 at VICTOR-22 -  The Blue Devils extended their winning streak to seven games.  Twelve players scored for Victor (12-3), led by Devin Livingston (4g/1a) and Julia Bruno (3g), and Harper Myers scored her first varsity goal.  The Blue Devils host Pittsford on Wednesday.        [ BOX SCORE

SOUTH JEFFERSON-8 at CANANDAIGUA-7 -   Canandaigua (13-1) was unable to overcome a 7-2 first-half deficit and suffered their first defeat of the season.  Nola Weaver had two goals for the Gray Wolves, and Hanna Davis, Caroline Lyttle, Lola Schorr, Leah Sheridan, and Samantha Lupton had one goal apiece.  The Gray Wolves travel to Brighton on Tuesday to take on the Bruins.       [ BOX SCORE

NEWARK-MIDLAKES-12 at WAYNE-17 - In this battle of Eagles, the non-screaming variety prevailed.  The Eagles of Wayne (6-7) were led by Isabella Veltre (5g/1a), Madelyn Hillman (4g/2a), and Julia DiLeo (4g); Anabelle Ruffell collected eight draw controls, and Mimi Ugalde had 11 saves.  For the Screaming Eagles of Newark-Midlakes (4-9), Stella Del Papa had 13 draw controls—including the 200th of her varsity career—to go with two goals and three assists, and Zoey Overslaugh added five goals and an assist.  Both teams have home contests on Friday, with Wayne meeting Gates Chili and Newark-Midlakes facing off against Eastridge/Bishop Kearney.         [ BOX SCORE

Brockport vs SpencerportEASTRIDGE/BK-20 at MARCUS WHITMAN-9 - Jillian Willis, Ashley Mandeville, and Ada Krupa led the offensive onslaught for Eastridge/Bishop Kearney (6-5) with six goals apiece, and Nina Alderman recorded 12 saves.  For the Wildcats, Aliysiah Clark had five goals, ninth-grader Ellie Deatherage scored her first varsity goal, and Helen Snyder registered nine draw controls.  Both teams take to the road on Friday, with Eastridge/Bishop Kearney traveling to Newark-Midlakes and Marcus Whitman visiting Aquinas.         [ BOX SCORE

Brockport vs SpencerportWATERLOO-16 at GANANDA-MARION-9 - The Tigers improved their record to 8-4, behind seven goals from Maci Mueller, three goals from Giana Delucia, and two goals each from Bailey Rossignol, Lainie Forde, and MacKenzie Tam.  Mueller and Rossignol also collected 10 draw controls each, including, for Mueller, the 100th of her varsity career.  Leading the scoring for Gananda-Marion (3-10) were Lexi Gallina (4g/1a) and Colleen Ginsberg (3g/1a).  Three players on the Blue Panthers achieved career milestones in the game—Maria Melnik collected her 500th career save, and Alexandra Cornell and Jordyn Brice each scored her first varsity goal.       [ BOX SCORE]   

PITTSFORD-5 at PENFIELD-10 - The Patriots built a 6-1 first-quarter lead on the way to their tenth victory of the season.  Penfield (10-4) was led by Peyton Rothfuss, who recorded a game-high four goals and eight draw controls.   There were no statistics reported from Pittsford (5-8) at post time.  The Patriots visit Schroeder on Friday.  The Panthers host section III rival Fayetteville-Manlius on Saturday.         [ BOX SCORE

Brockport vs SpencerportPAL-MAC-13 at MYNDERSE-ROMULUS-2 - The Red Raiders’ win was their seventh in a row over the Blue Devils dating back to 2018.  Eight players scored for Pal-Mac (9-4), led by Jenna Santelli (4g/2a) and Teagan Hudak (2g/2a); Hudak also registered seven draw controls, and Isabelle Cole recorded four saves.  Myah Herron and Chelsea Korzeniewski each had a goal for Mynderse-Romulus (7-5).  The Red Raiders have a non-league contest Saturday against East Aurora (VI).  The Blue Devils host Livonia-Avon on Friday.      [ BOX SCORE
