# 706 2024 All League Awards [UPDATED] The annual All-League Awards have been posted and are available on the player pages as well as the awards page. The Finger Lakes League awarded first team awards to Reagan Diehl, Chelsea Korzeniewski, Anna Priebe, Jenna Santelli, Taryn Goodness, Sidney Clickner, Stella Del Papa, Lainie Forde, Colleen Ginsberg, Myah Herron, Madelyn Hillman, Teagan Hudak, Maci Mueller, Bailey Rossignol, Maddie Whitford, and Amelia Reese. The Attack Player of the Year was Chelseas Korzaneski from Mynderse-Romulus. The Defender Player of the Year was Taryn Goodness from Pal-Mac. The Midfield Player of the Year was Maci Muller from Waterloo who was also named Finger Lakes Player of the Year. The Head Coach of the Year was E.J. Burse (Pal-Mac). The USA Lacrosse All-Americans were Molly Guzik (Spencerport), Hanna Davis (Canandaigua), Devin Livingston (Victor), Ella Peers (Fairport) and Reagan Diehl (Pal-Mac. The All-Academics were Lucy Lederman (Brighton), Angelia Oechsle (Rush-Henrietta), Katie Mallaber (Fairport), and Allie Chimenti ((Wayne). The Monroe County League first team D-1 awards to Katie Mallaber, Madison Van Gorder, Lilly Mattucci, Jenna Capozzi, Peyton Rothfuss, Cecily Kaul, Dani Mooney, Angelia Oechsle, Catrina Rowe, Danielle Garrett, Kate Dewald, Abby Murphy, Allie Pisano, Julia Bruno, Maia Pronti, Ryann Savage, Lucy Ruller, and Mia Estelle. The D-1 Defensive Player of The Year was Devin Livingston (Victor). The D-1 Offensive Player of The Year was Ella Peers (Fairport) and the Coach of the Year was Dave York (Penfield). The Monroe County League awarded first team D-2 awards to Zoe Baase, Caroline Lyttle, Hanna Davis, Leah Sheridan, Nola Weaver, Campbell Hewlett, Paige Kidd, Shaye Angelo, Ali Baumgartner, Ella Brennan, Emma Francis, Alyssa Nichols, Brooke Endres, and Molly Meyer. The D-2 Defensive Player of The Year was Rose Heagney (Canandaigua). The D-2 Offensive Player of The Year was Molly Guzik (Spencerport) and the Coach of the Year was Kevin O`Connell (HFL) who was also selected as the Monroe County Coach of the Year. The Independent teams also selected awards in 2024. First teams awards went to Mia Lusardi, Krista Harnischfeger, Elinor Meyer, Marina Reddington, Emma Kravetz, Savannah Hinchcliffe, Brynn Henry, Kessa Sangasy, Ada Krupa, Jill Willis, Erica Savage, and Mara Misiurewicz. # 701 Victor and Mercy Win Championships VICTOR-15 at CANANDAIGUA-10 - Canandaigua took a 3-2 lead after the first quarter, but the Blue Devils responded with seven goals in the second quarter and led at the half 9-5. When they outscored the Gray Wolves 5-2 in the third it was too much for Canandaigua despite scoring three goals in the last stanza. Scoring for Canandaigua (16-3) were senior Hanna Davis (3g-1a), sophomore Lola Schorr (3g-1a), senior Caroline Lyttle (2g-1a), sophomore Leah Sheridan (2g-1a), and junior Samantha Lupton (1a). Twelve players scored for Victor (12-3), led by Devin Livingston (4g/1a) and Julia Bruno (3g), and Harper Myers scored her first varsity goal. The Blue Devils host Pittsford on Wednesday. [ BOX SCORE] SOUTH JEFFERSON-8 at CANANDAIGUA-7 - Canandaigua (13-1) was unable to overcome a 7-2 first-half deficit and suffered their first defeat of the season. Nola Weaver had two goals for the Gray Wolves, and Hanna Davis, Caroline Lyttle, Lola Schorr, Leah Sheridan, and Samantha Lupton had one goal apiece. The Gray Wolves travel to Brighton on Tuesday to take on the Bruins. [ BOX SCORE] EAST AURORA-4 at PAL-MAC-18 - Reagan Diehl (6g/3a) led the offensive onslaught for the Red Raiders, while Jenna Santelli contributed three goals and three assists, Teagan Hudak collected nine draw controls, and Isabelle Cole had eight saves. For E.J. Burse, the Red Raiders’ coach, the game marked his 200th career win. Pal-Mac (10-4) hosts Geneva on Monday. Helen Snyder and Raegan Weissinger were the goal scorers for Marcus Whitman (0-13). The Tigers play host to Mynderse-Romulus on Monday. The Wildcats look for a win when they host Greece on Wednesday. [ BOX SCORE] GREECE STORM-7 at AQUINAS-17 - With the win, Aquinas improved its record to 8-5. Savannah Hinchcliffe had seven goals and an assist to lead the Little Irish; ninth-grader Brynn Henry (2g/3a) and eighth-grader Alexandria Stacy (4g/1a) also made significant contributions. Mara Misiurewicz scored four goals for Greece (8-5). Aquinas is home to Eastridge/Bishop Kearney on Monday. Greece is at Marcus Whitman on Wednesday. Kate DeWald also collected nine draw controls, including the 100th of her career. On April 4, Rush-Henrietta travels to West Genesee to play a team to be determined, and Thomas visits Pittsford. [ BOX SCORE] MARCUS WHITMAN-3 at PAL-MAC-19 - Of the nine different players who scored for the Red Raiders, five scored their first Varsity goal: Anabelle Grant, Kenzie Miller, Claire Nolan, Brinn Castrechini and Lia Donaher. Sophomore Aliysiah Clark scored her first Varsity goal for Marcus Whitman. [ BOX SCORE] SPENCERPORT-12 at HONEOYE FALLS-LIMA-6 - Spencerport defeated HFL this evening in HFL by a score of 12-6. Molly Guzik led the Rangers with 4 goals, 4 assists and 8 Draw Controls, while Share Angelo (3g) was the leading scorer for the Cougars. Spencerport carried a slim 5-4 lead into the half but pulled away in the final two frames to double up the Cougars by games end. [ BOX SCORE] PENFIELD-6 at VICTOR-14 - Penfield fell short in its contest against last year’s class B champions. Allie Pisano (4g/1a), Devin Livingston (4g/1a), Julia Bruno (3g/1a), and Maia Pronti (4a) provided the lion’s share of the scoring for Victor. [ BOX SCORE] CANANDAIGUA-21 at BROCKPORT-1 - The Canandaigua Gray Wolves travelled to Brockport this evening to open their season with a 21-1 victory. Hanna Davis (4g-2a), Samantha Lupton (5g-1a), and Leah Sheridan (4g-2a) each tallied 6 points in the convincing win. Zoe Baase scored the lone goal for Brockport while Goalie Jessica Maher notched 10 saves. Brockport will try to shake off the loss tomorrow against Gananda-Marion, while Canandaigua will wait a week before their next contest when they will visit Mercy on 4/3. [ BOX SCORE] FAIRPORT-11 at BRIGHTON-7 - Fairport opened its season in defense of its class A title with a win at Brighton. Lily Kondas (5g) and Katie Mallaber (3g) led the Red Raiders’ attack, while Taylor Frank made nine saves. For the Bruins, Ella Brunette and Alexandra Madison had two goals apiece. On April 1, Fairport has a non-league matchup against Cicero-North Syracuse (III). Brighton plays next on April 12, when they host Victor. [ BOX SCORE] GREECE STORM-11 at WATERLOO-12 - In a tightly contested match, the Warriors prevailed, earning head coach Matthew VanDamme his first varsity win. For Waterloo, Maci Mueller scored seven goals, Lainie Forde chipped in four goals, and sophomore Bailey Rossignol notched her first career goal.
