Since the conclusion of the season, we have worked to collect all the Post Season Awards to release at a single time. As we approach a week out from the State Finals, we have determined that we cannot wait any longer. Tonight, we posted all the information that we have received and will update the missing data when it is provided. We have received some requests to update individual personal pages and apologize to those waiting to see their records updated.

Monday in Final Week
With the final week of the season upon us there were 11 games played tonight (with one being moved to tomorrow). That leaves us with only 17 games left in the regular season. Seeding is becoming much more solid (see seeding page HERE); however, it is always important to remember that every game matters and seeding can change up until the last game is played. Many games tonight were one sided, but two came down to a single goal. HFL defeated Pal-Mac 9-8 and Churchville-Chili defeated Greece Storm 7-6.

There were two overtime matchups tonight with Eastridge defeating Livonia 10-9 and Thomas defeating HFL 12-11. GLaxFive had a reporter at the Eastridge vs. Livonia game and submitted a full report with photography. The closest matchup was Aquinas over Penn Yan 14-12. Penfield defeated South Jefferson 10-7 and Waterloo defeated Whitesboro 12-9. Camryn Sack scored the game winning goal with 1:54 remaining in regulation off a feed from Erin Coykendall to give second seeded Spencerport the 11-10 win over seventh seeded Webster Schroeder. Earlier in the season, Spencerport also won their first matchup 12-8. Tonight, the Rangers relied on three players to score 17 out 18 points. Coykendall finished with 2g-5a to lead. Natalie Choate (5g) and Sack (3g-2a) finished with five points each.
Out Bracket Games
Updated 5/20/18. There are three Out Bracket Games in Section Five this season. Class B has all three games. Due to scheduling conflicts this weekend, each game will be played on a different night. Friday night Thomas (6) hosts Gates-Chili (11). Saturday night Irondequoit (8) hosts Brockport (9). Sunday night Schroeder (7) hosts Churchville-Chili (10).
