2016-04-08 — Greece Athena/Odyssey held off the late advances of Gates-Chili to secure a 8-7 win over the Spartans. Seanna Beikirch and Sofia Inclema scored three goals each in Thunder win. The Thunder initially trailed 3-1 before taking the 4-3 lead late in the first quarter. The game was close after that, but the Spartans never re-took the lead. The Thunder led by one with 12 minutes left in regulation. The Spartans kept up their pressure and tied the game with 4 minutes left. It took two quarters, but the Thunder pulled out the win.
