2016-04-19 — Jenna Ginsberg scored with 2:25 remaining in overtime to give Gananda their second overtime win of the season.  Previous, Jordan Cunningham scored in overtime to give the Blue Panthers the win over East Rochester.  The games were extremely similar with Gananda taking an early lead that their opponents fought back from to force overtime before winning in sudden victory.  Gananda in 3-2 on the season.

The Screaming Eagles opened the scoring with an unassisted goal from Mackenzie Orcutt.  The Blue Panthers took control of the game with the next four goals.  Melissa Camp (2), Cunningham and Malorano scored with Allison Stark adding two assists.  The Blue Panthers led 4-1 at halftime.  Wayne came out of halftime strong and scored four of the next five goals.  Mary Panepento scored the first at 21:48 remaining.  Five minutes later Gananda scored their fifth with Ginsberg's first goal of the night.  Wayne went on a scoring streak and added three more to tie the game with 8:33 remaining.  Bailey Pratt, Jillian Pembroke and Hanna Zenelovic scored for the Screaming Eagles.

Gananda took back the lead with 5:42 left with an unassisted goal from Lesa Osipovitch.  Three minutes later the Screaming Eagles tied the game for the third time at 6-6.  Neither team could capitalize in the final two minutes of regulation.  Ginsberg and Cunningham currently lead their TEAM in goals with seven goals each.

Gananda has a week off with their next game coming against Aquinas on 4/26.  Wayne is back at it tomorrow night against Newark.
