Ten Matches: Mostly One Sided

CA vs. HiltonThere were ten matches tonight with only 2 games under a 5-goal differential.  The closest match of the night was Irondequoit defeated R-H 11-8.  Livonia over Gates Chili 12-8 was also under a 5-goal differential.  Rounding out the scoring were Waterloo over Gananda 11-3, Pal-Mac over Midlakes 17-2, Victor over HFL 13-8, Penfield over Brockport 15-4, Penn Yan over Mynderse 12-7, Arc/Oly over Eastridge 14-9, Brighton over Fairport 14-6 and Canandaigua over Hilton 15-3.

Penfield led 12-2 at the half on their way to a 15-4 victory over Brockport.  The Blue Devils were led in scoring by Leah Daly (2g-1a).  Daly also led in ground balls (5), caused turnovers (3) and draw controls (4).  The Patriots had 10 different players make their offensive scorebook.  Megan Motkowski (5g) led in scoring with Izzy Allen (3) leading in draw controls.  Additional stats are HERE.

Waterloo defeated Gananda 11-3.  The Indians scoring leader was Logan Castiglione with 5g.  Kari Jensen's 3 draw controls led for Waterloo.  Jordan Cunningham finished with 2a for the Blue Panthers.  Each of the three goals was scored be a different athlete.  Cunningham and Jenna Ginsberg recorded 4 draw controls each.  Additional stats are HERE.

Penn Yan took a five goal lead in the first half and held off Mynderse in the second half to win 12-7.  The Blue Devils were led in Sadie Mapstone (1g-3a) and Sarah Shaffer (4g) with four points each.  Mastone also recorded four groundballs.  For the Mustangs, Sydney Bloom was demonstrative at the draw, recording 15.  She also had 5 groundballs.  Hannah Keech's 7 ground balls led Penn Yan.  Additional stats are HERE.

Pal-Mac defeated Midlakes 17-2.  The Red Raiders had nine different players make their offensive scorebook.  Andra Savage (4g-2a) led in scoring with Anna Leva (2g-3a) adding five points.  Aldyn Savage recorded nine draw controls.  Additional stats are HERE.

Greece Arc/Oly defeated Eastridge 14-9.  Madison Bodnar (4g-2a) and Madison Corcoran (5g-1a) led in scoring for the Lightning.  Jazmine Darling finished with 7 draw controls and 9 groundballs.  Additional stats are HERE.

Brighton scored six of the first seven goals in their 14-7 win over Fairport.  The Red Raiders were led in scoring by Hannah Shin (2g-1a).  Maddie Howe also added 2g.  Additional stats are HERE
