All 33 teams have played their first game as of the this week. Make sure to read the New Sectional Seeding for 2017 article for specifics on the changes to seeding this season.
*Special Note: This week there is a great example of why early season seeding is subject to problems. Fairport and Pittsford both currently have 4.0000 average points. Pittsford has only played 1 game (and won) against a team that is under 25% (Fairport is 0-4). Therefore, they have 4 points. Fairport has lost 4 games to teams that themselves have never lost (Pittsford, Spencerport, Brighton, FM) and are each worth 10 points in a win (or 4 points for a loss). Therefore both teams show as 4.0000 this early in the season. Keep in mind that seeding can and will change quickly as the season progresses.
