Ten More Matches

There were ten more matches played in Section Five today.  Mostly all games were one sides. The closest of the contests was Spencerport over Churchville-Chili 15-8.  Additional scores were Pittsford over Ath/Ody 19-1, Penfield over Hilton 17-4, RH over Arc/Oly 20-4, Canandaigua over Brockport 20-8, Mynderse over ER 17-4, Irondequoit over Eastridge 13-1, Victor over Schroeder 17-9, Aquinas over Gananda 14-3 and Fairport over Gates Chili 13-1.

Mynderse defeated East Rochester 17-4.  The Blue Devils had nine player make their offensive book with Saddie Mapstone leading with 8g-1a.  Briana Impastato played the second half and recorded 7 saves (88%).  Additional stats are HERE.

RH defeated Olympia/Arcadia 20-3.  The Lightning scored all three of their goals in the first half.  Jazmine Darling, Makenna Misiurewicz and Savannah Smallidge each scored one goal for the Lightning.  Smallidge finished with 3 draw controls and 3 ground balls.  Additional stats are HERE.

Spencerport scored the first goal and never trailed in their 15-8 win over Churchville-Chili.  Katie Cosgrove finished with nine draw controls for the Saints and 2g.  For Spencerport, Erin Coykendall finished with 3g-5a to lead.  Olivia Wall recorded 3 draw controls and Camryn Sack recorded 4 ground balls.  Additional stats are HERE.

Victor defeated Schroeder 17-9.  The Warriors were led in scoring by Payton Lill with 3g-1a.  Lill also led in draw controls with 3.  Additional stats are HERE.

Irondequoit defeated Eastridge 13-1.  Sophomore Erika Sherwood led in scoring with 4g-3a for the Eagles.  Maira Brennan led with 3 draw controls and attackman Meg Dano led with 4 groundballs.  Additional stats are HERE.

Fairport defeated Gates Chili 13-1 with 11 players making the offensive scorebook.  Hannah Shin (3a) and Maddie Howe (2g-1a) led in scoring with 3 points each.  Howe also led in draw controls with 4.  Additional stats are HERE.

Canandaigua scored 14 of the last 15 to defeat Brockport 20-8.  The Blue Devils played a close game for the first 20 minutes.  They led twice and kept the game within two goals.  Canandaigua then took over the scoring and held the Blue Devils to only 1 goal in the final 30 minutes.  Leah Daly (6g) led in scoring for Brockport.  Additional stats are HERE.

Penfield led 11-1 at the half on their way to a 17-4 win over Hilton.  The Patriots were led in scoring by Morgan Cox (1g-3a) and Lucy Rugaber (4g).  Megan Motkowski finished with 3 draw controls.  Additional stats are HERE.

Pittsford defeated Ath/Ody 19-1.  The Thunder goal was scored by Emily Benham.  Additional stats are HERE.
