Friday Has Eleven Matches

There were 11 games were played tonight in Section Five.  There were a total of three one goal games: Ath/Ody over Eastridge 9-8, Geneva over Midlakes 11-10 and R-H over Spencerport 7-6.  The remaining games were Pittsford over Victor 11-6, Penn Yan over Marcus Whitman 12-4, Pal-Mac over Newark 16-3, Mynderse over Gananda 16-5, Hilton over Brockport 21-9 and Thomas over Fairport 12-7.

RH and Spencerport played a close back and forth game that was only more than one goal apart once.  The Royal Comets came back in the final minutes to defeat the Rangers.  Leading in scoring for the Rangers was Erin Coykendall with 1g-2a.  She also led in draw controls with 3.  Additional stats are HERE.

Ath/Ody defeated Eastridge 9-8 in overtime.  Emily Benham (4g-3a) lead in scoring for the Thunder.  Additional stats are HERE.

Thomas led 4-2 at the half and scored eight more goals in the second half in their 12-7 win over Fairport.  The Red Raiders were led in scoring by Cameryn Dera (2g) and Maddie Howe (2g).  Howe also led in draw controls with 4.  Additional stats are HERE.

Hilton defeated Brockport 21-9.  The Blue Devils were led in scoring by Leah Daly with 6g-1a.  She also recorded 5 draw controls and 5 ground balls.  Erika Ruggieri led with 6 draw controls for Brockport.  Hilton defenseman Josephine Ban led in draw controls with 10.  Offensively, Payton Cook recorded 6g-2a and Amanda Hilderbrandt scored 3g-4a.  Additional stats are HERE.

Mynderse's Sadie Mapstone finished with 6g-3a in the Blue Devils 16-5 win over Gananda.  Midfielder  Mary Doell led in both draw controls (4) and groundballs (5).  Additional stats are HERE.

Pal-Mac led 13-1 at the half on their way to a 16-3 win over Newark.  The Red Raiders had 11 players make their offensive scorebook.  Five girls finished with one point: Briana Dey (1a), Kayleigh Ground (1g), Abby Halsey (1g), Abigael LaRocca (1a) and Cierra Scheik (1g).  Andra Savage finished with 4g-3a.  Additional stats are HERE.

Penn Yan scored seven goals in the first half in defeating Marcus Whitman 12-4.  Each Wildcat goal was scored by a different girl: Charlotte Alvord, Grace Hullings, Jordan Knapp, Emily Thompson.  Additional stats are HERE.

Pittsford defeated Victor 11-6 after leading 7-0 at the half.  Additional stats will be updated HERE.

Geneva defeated Midlakes 11-10.  Additional stats will be updated HERE.
