Ten More Games to Start Week 8

There were 10 games played tonight in Section Five with two finishing with one goal difference.  Pal-Mac defeated Jordan Elbridge 10-9 and R-H defeated Victor 11-10.  The remaining games were Aquinas over Ath/Ody 17-6, Penfield over Gates-Chili 22-2, Marcus Whitman over Livonia 14-11, Hilton over Oly/Arc 10-5, Pittsford over Schroeder 13-2, East Rochester over Midlakes 11-8, Brighton over Eastridge 21-2 and Thomas over Churchville-Chili 17-6.

Pal-Mac defeated Jordan-Elbridge 10-9.  The Red Raiders were led in scoring by Andra Savage with 5g-1a.  Emma Arnold led in draw controls and groundballs with 7 each.  Additional stats are HERE.

Pittsford scored the opening three goals in their 13-2 win over Schroeder.  Victoria Gottorff led in scoring for the Warriors with 2a.  Additional stats are HERE.

Hilton scored five goals in each half in their 10-5 win over Oly/Arc.  The Cadets were led in scoring by Payton Cook with 3g-2a.  Josephine Ban recorded 4 draw controls.  For the Lightning, Madison Corcoran finished with 2g-1a and Jazmine Darling recorded 5 draw controls.  Additional stats are HERE.

East Rochester won their first game of the season against Midlakes 11-8.  Earlier in the year, Midlakes recorded their lone win of the season against East Rochester 10-2.  Jordan Naeye led in scoring for the Screaming Eagles with 2g-1a.  Madilynn Walsh finished with 3g-1a for the Bombers.  She also led in draw controls (5) and groundballs (4).  Additional stats are HERE.

Marcus Whitman scored seven goals in each half in their 14-11 win over Livonia.  Emily Thompson finished with 6g-2a for the Wildcats.  She also finished with seven groundballs and six draw controls.  Additional stats are HERE.

Aquinas defeated Ath/Ody 17-6.  The Little Irish had five girls make their offensive book with Alana Piano leading with 5g-3a.  Sophie DePalma added 4g-1a.  Piano also led in draw controls with 5.  For the Thunder, Leanza Gibaud led with 2g-1a.  Additional stats are HERE.

Penfield defeated Gates-Chili 22-2.  The Patriots had 15 different girls make their offensive book.  Leading the charge was Mia Petrone with 6a.  Izzy Allen led in draw controls with 5.  Additional stats are HERE.
