Big Night of Games for Wednesday

There were 12 games tonight as teams attempt to make-up matches that were cancelled due to weather earlier in the season.  The closest match-up was HFL defeating Canandaigua 14-13.  The remaining games included, Thomas over Ath/Ody 15-4, Mercy over Geneva 18-10, Penfield over Victor 10-3, Brockport over Eastridge 15-3, Churchville-Chili over Schroeder 10-5, Hilton over Gates Chili 11-2, Livonia over Midlakes 15-9, R-H over Fairport 6-2, Pittsford over Spencerport 17-5, Arc/Oly over East Rochester 11-5 and Brighton over Irondequoit 7-2.

Churchville-Chili scored the final four goals of the game at defeat Schroeder 10-5.  In addition to the last four, the Saints scored seven of the last eight.  Katie Cosgrove led in scoring for Churchville-Chili with 5g.  She also recorded 4 draw controls and 6 caused turnovers.  For Schroeder, Madison Bell led with 3a.  Goalie Jorden Concordia recorded 2 ground ball and 2 caused turnovers in addition to her 5 saves.  Additional stats are HERE.

After a tied 3-3 halftime score, Arc/Oly added another 8 goals in the second half to defeat East Rochester 11-5.  The Lightning were led in scoring by their feeders with Jazmine Darling (2g-5a) and Madison Corcoran (2g-4a) leading in points.  Darling (5) also led in draw controls with Alyssa Ballou adding another 4.  Additional stats are HERE.

Livonia defeated Midlakes 15-9.  The Bulldogs were led in scoring by Lindsey Lopresto with 4g-2a.  Lauren Connor added another 3g-1a.  For the Screaming Eagles Jordan Naeye (3g), Claire Raes (3g) and Jamie DeBoover (1g-2a) each finished with 3 points.  Naeye also recorded 6 draw controls to lead her team.  Additional stats are HERE.

Hilton led 7-0 over Gates Chili at halftime.  The Cadets finished the game at 11-2.  The scoring for Hilton was spread out with no player recording over 2 points; in total, 13 girls made the offensive scorebook.  Meaghan McGwin led with 3 draw controls and Sydney Carpenter led in groundballs (3) and caused turnovers (4).  Additional stats are HERE.

Brighton led 5-1 at the half on their way to a 7-2 win over Irondequoit.  The Barons were led in scoring by Kathryn Smolensky with 2g-1a.  Additional stats are HERE.

Pittsford scored the opening goal and never trailed or tied in their 17-5 win over Spencerport.  Erin Coykendall was present on all five goals with 4g-1a.  The fifth Ranger goal was scored by Olivia Wall (1g-1a).  Additional stats are HERE.

Penfield started off strong at 3-0 at halftime and then increased to 10-3 over Victor in the second half.  Megan Motkowski recorded 3g-1a to lead the Patriots.  Beth Lawatsch recorded 5 draw controls for Penfield.  Additional stats are HERE.

Mercy's Sami Carey finished with 5g-2a to lead her team in their 18-10 win over Geneva.  The Monarchs increase their record to 8-5.  Izzy Stockman recorded 8 draw controls for Mercy.  Additional stats are HERE.

RH scored all six of their goals straight in their 6-2 win over Fairport.  The Red Raiders scored the first and last goal of the game.  Cameryn Dera and Morgan Schwab scored for Fairport.  Brenna Linder recorded the lone draw control for Fairport.  Additional stats are HERE.

Thomas defeated Ath/Ody 15-4.  Emily Benham led in scoring for the Thunder with 2g-1a.  Additional stats are HERE.
