Section Five swept Section Six in the State Quarter Finals.  Canandaigua defeated Hamburg 16-6, HFL defeated Lake Shore 16-12, Pal-Mac defeated East Aurora 17-0 and Pittsford defeated Frontier 15-1.  The Panthers and Red Raiders also won the Boys Western Regional Championships and both schools with have 2 teams in thate State Semi-Finals.

Canandaigua scored seven unanswered goals in the first half and led 13-3 at halftime in thier 16-6 win over Hamburg.  The Braves were led in scoring by Peyton Smith with 1g-4a.  Lindsay Reho added 3g-1a.  Canandaigua dominated the draw control with Clancy Rheude (9) and Natalie Gwynn (5) leading in draw controls.  Additional stats are HERE.

HFL led 11-6 at halftime and 16-8 late in the game before defeating Lake Shore 16-12.  The Eagles finished their season 14-3 with all three losses coming to Section Five teams.  Leading in scoring for the Cougars were Brittany Chamberlain (6g-1a) and Caitlin Muir (4g-1a).  Chamberlain (5) and Muir (3) also led in draw controls.  Additional stats are HERE.

Pal-Mac defeated East Aurora 17-0.  The Pal-Mac Boys defeated Grand Island 8-6 (HERE) to also advance.  Anna Leva led in scoring with 4g-6a.  Andra Savage (5g-1a) and Emma Arnold (1g-4a) also added high totals.  Arnold recorded 8 draw controls and 3 caused turnovers.  Cierra Scheik also recorded 3 caused turnovers.  Additional stats are HERE.

Pittsford defeated Frontier 15-1.  The Pittsford Boys defeated Orchard Park 20-6 (HERE) to also advance.  When updated, additional stats will be HERE.

Pittsford advances to play Christian Brothers Academy at 4:30 PM on 6/9 at SUNY Cortland - White Field.

North Rockland will play the winner of Massapequa vs. Middle Country on the Red Field for the other Class A Semi-Final match-up

Canandaigua advances to play Fayetteville-Manlius at 9:00 AM on 6/9 at SUNY Cortland - White Field.

Yorktown will play the winner of ESM vs. Garden City on the Red Field for the other Class B Semi-Final match-up.

Honeoye Falls-Lima advances to play Vestal at 11:30 AM on 6/9 at SUNY Cortland - White Field.

Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake will play the winner of Mt. Sinai s. Wantagh on the Red Field for the other Class C Semi-Final match-up.

Pal-Mac advances to play Skaneateles at 2:00 PM on 6/9 at SUNY Cortland - White Field.

Bronxville will play the winner of Mattituck-Southold vs. Carle Place on the Red Field for the other Class D Semi-Final Match-up.
