HF-L Gets Revenge and Six More games

There were seven games played today and although there were some mismatches, there was one very close one.

HF-L 13 - SPENCERPORT 9 - [Team Report:] "Last season the lady cougars got back on the bus after a, for lack of better words, disappointing loss to spencerport by more than five goals. Almost a year later, the outcome was nearly polar. Through winning 68% of draws (15/22), a dominating offensive presence and ruthless defensive effort the cougars came through with a 13 to 9 win, with a maximum lead of five goals. The offense was led by Whitley Easton (6g-2a), Clare Ruff (3g-1a). Despite the admirable offensive effort, the cougars defense was what won the game. With more than five caused turnovers, 11 saves by Lilian Brady, and more than one man-up-opportunity, the lady cougars came to do one thing, and one thing only- leave that field different than last year." HF-L hosts Victor next Monday. Senior attacker Livia Fedele led the offense for the Rangers with 4g. Spencerport plays Fairport on Friday.  [BOXSCORE]
