Tuesday - Kearney Over Mynderse

There were three games played on Tuesday. Bishop Kearney had a 12-11 win against Mynderse-Romulus and Canandaigua had a 12-9 win against Corning. HF-L also won.

BISHOP KEARNEY 12 - MYNDERSE-ROMULUS 11  - Bishop Kearney overcame a 7-5 halftime deficit to narrowly defeat Mynderse-Romulus, 12-11.  It was Bishop Kearney’s second victory of the season.  Mynderse-Romulus was led by Kelly Kohberger (5g) and Chelsea Korzeniewski (2g/3a), each of whom also had five draw controls.  Amelia Reese chipped in two goals for the Blue Devils.  Bishop Kearney will try to make it two in a row when it hosts Livonia-Avon on Wednesday.  Mynderse-Romulus (5-7) does not play again until its rematch against Bishop Kearney next Monday.  There were no statistics reported from Bishop Kearney at post time.       [BOXSCORE]

HF-L 18 - BROCKPORT 1  - Honeoye Falls-Lima improved to 7-6 with a dominating 18-1 win over Brockport.  For the Cougars, Whitley Easton and Marlee Green each had four goals, while Shaye Angelo, Clare Ruff, and Camryn Trybuskiewicz had two goals apiece.  On Friday, Honeoye Falls-Lima travels to Fairport for a game against the Red Raiders, while Brockport visits Wayne.   There were no statistics reported from Brockport at post time.    [BOXSCORE

CORNING 9 - CANANDAIGUA 12  - Canandaigua made the trip to Corning tonight after a tough loss last night and came home victorious after 12-9 win over Corning.  Canandaigua dominated for most of the game, leading 6-1 at the half and opening up a 9-1 lead early in the second half.  Corning however never gave up, and fought back, scoring 3 goals within the last minute of play alone to make the final score more competitive.  The Braves had contributions from the entire team all over the field with Hanna Davis leading all scorers (2g-4a) with 6 points, while Liv Schorr (3g-1a) came up with another hat trick.  Rachel Bennett and Koehler Nieman each netted 2 goals and distributed 1 assist, senior captain Abbey Herod scored a goal and an assist, while also winning a decisive 11 Draw controls and causing 2 turnovers.  Makenna Crouse made her presence felt between the 30’s with 2 Draw controls, 3 GB’s and a Caused Turnover, and Mya Herman stifled the Hawks star attacker for most of the night with lock down defense.  Mackenzie Taft saved 5 shots for the Braves.   [BOXSCORE
