Hinchcliffe’s Goal Lift Aquinas-WOIS Past Mynderse-Romulus

In a thrilling non-league matchup, Aquinas-WOIS edged Mynderse-Romulus 11-10 with senior attacker Savannah Hinchcliffe scoring the game-winner in the final second of regulation. Hinchcliffe led Aquinas-WOIS with four goals and two assists, while Kessa Sangasy and Alex West contributed two goals each. Ninth-grader Madison Dibattisto scored her first varsity goal, marking a memorable debut. Goalie Angelina Masci played a pivotal role, saving 15 shots with a 60% save rate in the victory.

For Mynderse-Romulus, senior Chelsea Korzeniewski reached a milestone with her 100th career goal, tallying four goals and five assists for the game. Myah Herron added two goals and one assist, while Lulu Ferrara notched two goals. Despite five fourth-quarter goals, the Blue Devils' late rally fell just short. Their goalies, Bridget Lunduski and Joey Mclean, combined for four saves in the loss.

This marks the first win for Aquinas-WOIS in this series, with both teams looking ahead to build on their season openers. Aquinas-WOIS improves to 1-0, while Mynderse-Romulus starts their season at 0-1.
