Eastridge/BK Prevails Over Aquinas-WOIS
Eastridge/BK earned a 19-8 win against Aquinas-WOIS on Friday. It was Eastridge/BK's eighth consecutive victory this season.
Neely Hawn (5g) and Ada Krupa (4g/4a) led the Eastridge/BK attack. Additional scoring came from Callie McCullough (4g/1a), Maize Wilner (4g/2a), and Tessa Macchione (2g). Neely Hawn, Ada Krupa, and Maize Wilner also combined to win 22 draw controls. Mikayla Kaczor recorded three saves over 48 minutes of play.
For the Little Irish, Marilena Diaz and Kessa Sangasy each scored three goals. Brynn Henry and Elizabeth Valentino had one goal apiece, and Haley Bennett added an assist. In net, Angelina Masci made 12 saves.
With the win, Eastridge/BK improves its record to 8-1, while Aquinas-WOIS falls to 6-7. Eastridge/BK will travel to Hilton on Saturday to face the Cadets, while the Little Irish will play Greece Storm on Wednesday. [ Story and BOX SCORE]
