Penn Yan Survives Overtime Thriller
DAY IN REVIEW: THURSDAY - [UPDATED] Penn Yan edged Honeoye Falls-Lima in a hard-fought 11-10 overtime battle, despite a four-goal performance from the Cougars' Shaye Angelo and six saves by Sarah McLaughlin. In overtime, however, Ruby Berry scored the unassisted game winner for the Mustangs. In the only other game played today, Mynderse-Romulus cruised past Gananda-Marion 17-5, powered by standout performances from Myah Herron (4g) and Chelsea Korzeniewski (3g/7a).
