DAY IN REVIEW: SATURDAY - [UPDATED] Eight games were played today, featuring several standout performances and close battles. Fairport edged Penn Yan in a thrilling 10-9 contest, with Ellie Miller scoring the game-winner, while Rush-Henrietta topped Queensbury 15-11, a game highlighted by the 200-point milestones reached by both Danielle Garrett and Kate DeWald. In another competitive matchup, Frontier secured a 17-12 win over Livonia-Avon-Geneseo, with Maddie Whitford and Sidney Clickner combining for 10 goals in a losing effort. Wayne earned a solid 10-5 victory against Niagara-Wheatfield, and Pittsford defeated Orchard Park 16-11. Other games were markedly more one-sided, including Victor’s 20-6 triumph over Mercy, Brockport’s 23-8 win over Newark-Midlakes, and Honeoye Falls-Lima’s 20-2 rout of Greece Storm.
