Pal-Mac Secures Spot in Class C Finals
No. 1 Pal-Mac advanced to the class C finals with a 22-10 victory over No. 4 Aquinas-WOIS on Thursday. It was the Red Raiders' twelfth win in a row. Aquinas-WOIS led 6-4 after the first quarter, but Pal-Mac responded with a 14-2 run over the second and third quarters to put the game out of reach.
Teagan Hudak and Brinn Castrechini led Pal-Mac with seven goals each, while Jenna Santelli added three. Lily Boesel, Teagan Hudak, and Taryn Goodness combined to win 21 draw controls.
Aquinas-WOIS received standout performances from Brynn Henry, who tallied five goals and one assist, and Savannah Hinchcliffe, who recorded four goals, including her 50th of the season. Haley Bennett contributed a goal and an assist. Angelina Masci made 11 saves in the loss.
With the win, Pal-Mac moves on to play No. 3 Honeoye Falls-Lima in the class C final game on Tuesday. Aquinas-WOIS concludes its season with a record of 8-10. [ Story and BOX SCORE]
