Cooper Leads Penn Yan; Canandaigua Wins Third Straight

DAY IN REVIEW: MONDAY - It was a good Monday on the road for two Section V girls lacrosse programs. Penn Yan stayed unbeaten at 3-0 with a win in South Carolina. Meanwhile, Canandaigua wrapped up a road trip to the Southern Tier and Long Island with a win at Mattituck.

PENFIELD-6 at SAYVILLE-11 - In Penfield’s season opener, the defending NYS class A champions fell short against Sayville (XI), a Suffolk County powerhouse. There were no statistics reported from either team at post time.  [Story and BOX SCORE
