Reynolds Scores the Game-Winner for Penfield

PITTSFORD-11 at PENFIELD-12 - In a tightly-contested matchup between two of section V's strongest squads, the Patriots came out on top. Peyton Rothfuss scored the tying goal with five minutes left in the fourth quarter, and after Karis Hand made a key save to end the Panthers' ensuing possession, Whitney Reynolds converted a free-position opportunity for the game-winner. It was the first loss of the season for Pittsford (3-1). Penfield is 3-2.

Avery Fordham and Peyton Rothfuss each recorded four goals and an assist for Penfield. Lexi Corcoran added two goals. Olivia Reed led the team with five caused turnovers. Karis Hand made eight saves.

There were no statistics reported from Pittsford at post time.
