Tuesday Matchups

There were 10 matches this afternoon.  Two of the games were one goal games with Geneva defeating Wayne 9-8 and Spencerport defeating Canandaigua 10-9.  Other games included, Gananda over Ath/Ody 8-5, Oly/Arc over Gates Chili 21-6, Ithaca over Irondequoit 11-8, Marcus Whitman over Newark 16-6, Waterloo over Midlakes 17-4, Pal-Mac over Mynderse 17-5, Thomas over Mercy 21-10 and Brighton over HFL 13-5.

Spencerport fought back to defeat Canandaigua 10-9.  A partial report with stats is HERE.

Geneva won their first straight with a 9-8 win over Wayne.  A partial repot with stats is HERE.

Gananda held the 5-2 lead at the half and held the three goal lead to the 8-5 final over Ath/Ody.  For Ath/Ody, Emily Benham led with 2g.  For the Blue Panthers, Jordan Cunningham (3g-1a) and Jenna Ginsberg (4g) led in scoring.  Cunningham also led in draw controls with 7.  Kaira Donnan led in groundballs with six and Ginsberg led in cause turnovers with 3.  Additional stats are HERE.

Marcus Whitman defeated Newark 16-6.  Emily Thompson led in scoring with 6g-1a.  She also led in draw controls with six.  Defenseman Emily Paddock led her team with 4 ground balls.  Additional stats are HERE.

Waterloo scored nine goals in the second half in their 17-4 win over Midlakes.  For the Screaming Eagles, Alaina Forbes finished with 1g-1a and 4 draw controls.  For the Indians, Sam Barndhart recorded 6 draw controls.  Emily Smith (7g) led in scoring with Logan Castiglione (1g-4a) adding to the total.  Additional stats are HERE.

Pal-Mac held Mynderse scoreless in the first half in their 17-5 win.  The Red Raiders were led in scoring by Anna Leva (3g-3a).  Andra Savage (5g) and Aldyn (2g-3a) also added to the total.  Aldyn finished with a team leading 7 draw controls.  Additional stats are HERE.

Thomas led 13-7 at the half on their way to a 21-10 win over Mercy.  The Titans had 11 players make their offensive scorebook.  Emily Glagolev (2g-5a) and Nicole Voci (5g-2a) led in scoring with Glagolev also leading in draw controls with 9.  Mary Soures added another 6 draw controls.  Additional stats are HERE.
