There are seven Out Bracket Games in Section Five this season. Class B has five match-ups and Class D has two match-ups.  Two games are scheduled for Friday May 19th and five are scheduled for Saturday May 20th. Class A and Class C do not have Out Bracket matches.

CLASS B:

There are five match-ups in the Class B Tournament.  The #1 seed (Brighton), #2 seed (Canandaigua) and #3 seed (Spencerport) all have byes in the first round.

#4 Thomas vs. #13 Gates-Chili

Thomas vs. Gates Chili is scheduled to be played on Friday at 7:00 PM. The Titans and the Spartans did not play in the regular season. Thomas defeated Gates Chili 17-1 to advance. When updated, additional stats will be HERE.

#5 Victor vs. #12 Ath/Ody

Victor vs. Ath/Ody is scheduled to be played Saturday at 2:00 PM.  The Blue Devils and the Thunder did not play in the regular season.  Social media reports Victor advancing over Ath/Ody, defeating the Thunder 13-0.  When updated, additional stats will be HERE.

#6 Churchville-Chili vs. #11 Brockport

Churchville-Chili vs. Brockport is scheduled to be played Saturday at 2:00 PM.  The Saints and the Blue Devils played twice this year with CC winning 15-9 and 14-6.  Churchville-Chili advances over Brockport, defeating the Blue Devils 16-3.  Tori Lammes (1g-2a) led in scoring for Brockport.  Nina Orlowski (3g-2a) led in scoring for the Saints.  Additional stats are HERE.

#7 Schroeder vs. #10 Arc/Oly

Schroeder vs. Arc/Oly is scheduled to be played Saturday at 7:00 PM.  The Warriors and the Lightning did not play in the regular season.  Schroeder advances over Arc/Oly, defeating the Lightning 14-1.  Alyssa Ballou scored the lone goal for the Lightning.  Additional stats are HERE.

#8 Irondequoit vs. #9 Hilton

Irondequoit vs. Hilton is scheduled to be played Saturday at 1:00 PM.  The Cadets and the Eagles played once this year with Hilton winning 8-6.  Irondequoit advances over Hilton, defeating the Cadets 12-6.  Haley Chamberlain (2g), Amanda Hilderbrandt (2g) and Meaghan McGwin (1g-1a) for Hilton.  Additional stats are HERE.

CLASS D

There are two match-ups in the Class D Tournament.  The bottom four seeds play two matches to advance to the quarter finals.  The top six seeds all have Out Bracket byes.

#7 Livonia vs. #10 East Rochester

Livonia vs. East Rochester was scheduled for Friday at 6:30 PM.  The Bulldogs and Bombers did not face in the regular season.  Livonia defeated East Rochester 12-6 to advance. Madilynn Walsh led in scoring for the Bombers with 4g.  Additional stats are HERE.

#8 Gananda vs. #9 Midlakes

Gananda vs. Midlakes is scheduled for Saturday at 10:00 AM.  The Blue Panthers and Screaming Eagles played once this year with Midlakes winning 9-5.  Gananda advances over Midlakes, defeating the Screaming Eagles 9-8 in overtime.  Gananda fought back from trailing 5-3 with five unanswered goals.  Midlakes scored the final two goals of regulation in the final 90 seconds to force overtime.  Melissa Camp scored her 5th goal of the game in overtime to secure the win for Gananda.  Additional stats are HERE.
