May 27, 2017 - There has been quite a write-in campaign today asking for a time change in the Championship schedule so that fans and families supporting the Pal-Mac boys and girl`s teams could see both games. Although the boys and girls committees worked hard to avoid conflicts, it turns out that the Boys (in Class C) and the girls (in Class D) were scheduled for the same time.

After hard work by committee members, coaches and athletic directors, the girl`s championship times have been changes so that the boys will play at 5:00 on Tuesday at St John Fisher College and the girls will play at 7:00, "down the street" at Pittsford Sutherland High School.

The boys schedule has not changed (only the girls).

Al DeCarlo, co-chair of girl`s lacrosse says, "We are good to go and all parties are in agreement. Everybody is in agreement the it is best of the kids and communities."

Interestingly, there are five teams that have both boys and girl`s teams playing in the final and they are all accommodated this year. The teams are Pittsford, Canandaigua, HF-L, Penn Yan and Pal-Mac.
