Updated 5/20/18. There are three Out Bracket Games in Section Five this season. Class B has all three games.  Due to scheduling conflicts this weekend, each game will be played on a different night.  Friday night Thomas (6) hosts Gates-Chili (11). Saturday night Irondequoit (8) hosts Brockport (9). Sunday night Schroeder (7) hosts Churchville-Chili (10).

CLASS B:

There are three match-ups in the Class B Tournament.  The #1 seed (Brighton), #2 seed (Spencerport), #3 seed (Canandaigua), #4 seed (Mercy) and #5 seed (Victor) all have byes in the first round.

#6 Thomas vs. #11 Gates-Chili

Thomas vs. Gates Chili is scheduled to be played on Friday at 6:00 PM. The Titans and the Spartans did not play in the regular season. Thomas defeated Gates Chili 17-0 to advance. Sixteen girls made the offensive scorebook with four players finishing at 3 points.  Taylor Ford (3g), Miranda Nicolosi (1g-2a), Mary Soures (3g) and Tori Vahl (3g) led for the Titans.  Additional stats are HERE.

#7 Schroeder vs. #10 Churchville-Chili

Schroeder vs. C-C is scheduled to be played on Sunday at 3:00 PM.  The Warriors and the Saints played during the season with Schroeder winning 19-8.  Tonight, Schroeder defeated Churchville-Chili 19-9.  The Warriors scored the opening goal and never trailed.  Leading in scoring for Schroeder was Victoria Gotorff with 5g-2a.  Haley Bolton (3g-2a) and Abby Moon (1g-4a) also added to the count.  Payton Lill dominated the draw with 16 recorded wins.  Additional stats are HERE.

#8 Irondequoit vs. #9 Brockport

Irondequoit vs. Brockport is scheduled to be played Saturday at 1:00 PM.  The Eagles and the Blue Devils played during the regular season with Irondequoit winning 13-4.  Irondequoit scored 7 goals in the first half on their way to a 13-3 win over Brockport.  Leah Daly (2g-1a) and Tori Lammes (1g-2a) scored all the points for the Blue Devils.  Daly (5) and Liz Schultheis (3) led in draw controls.  The Eagles had seven players make their offensive book with Maira Brennan (2g-5a) and Erika Sherwood (4g-3a) leading.  Marina Butler and Sarah Bosburgh each recorded 2 caused turnovers.  Additional stats are HERE.

In the next round the winners will move on to play those teams with byes.  Top Seeded Brighton will host Irondequoit (8), Mercy (4) will host Victor (5), Spencerport (2) will host Schroeder (7) and Canandaigua (3) will host Thomas (6).  Quarter final information will come together in a single ariticle that will up HERE (once created).
