Nine Games on Friday

There were nine games tonight with two games going into overtime.  Irondequoit defeated Fairport 7-6 and Wayne defeated Aquinas 12-11.  Remaining scores included Greece over Geneva 13-3, HFL over Penn Yan 13-4, Mynderse-Romulus over Waterloo 12-7, Canandaigua over South Jefferson 7-6 and Newark-Midlakes over Livonia 14-7.

Bridget Inclema scored the game winning goal in the first overtime period to give Irondequoit the 7-6 win over Fairport.  The Eagles took an early 4-0 lead before Fairport fought back in the second half.  The Red Raiders scored the final four goals to force the tie with under a minute remaining.  Maira Brennan and Marina Butler both finished with 2g each.  Additional stats are HERE.

Wayne held off a second half push by Aquinas to defeat the Little Irish 12-11.  Casey Hibbard led in scoring with 5g-1a for the Eagles.  Additional stats are HERE.

Greece defeated Geneva 13-3.  The Storm led 8-0 at halftime.  Leading in scoring for Geneva were Lauren DeVaney, Rylie McGhan and Grace Validzic with 1g each.  Megan Kerr recorded 1a.  For Greece, Kelsey Nugent led with 3g-1a.  Mackenzie Gibaud added another 2g-1a.  Nugent also led in draw controls with 2 draw controls.  Additional stats are HERE.

Newark-Midlakes defeated Livonia 14-7.  When updated, additional stats will be HERE.

Canandaigua defeated South Jefferson 7-6.  When updated, additional stats will be HERE.

Mynderse-Romulus defeated Waterloo 12-7.  When updated, additional stats will be HERE.

HFL defeated Penn Yan 13-4.  When updated, additional stats will be HERE.
