Pittsford Earns Narrow Victory Over Eagles

Pittsford edged Irondequoit 9-7 in a Monroe County matchup on Thursday evening. The all-time series between the teams is a close one, with each program having won nine games since 2005.

For the Eagles, Grace Bottiglier had three goals, including the 50th of her varsity career. Ellie Bottiglier (2g/2a), Lila Velepec (1g/1a), and Lucy Whipple (1g/2a) accounted for the remainder of Irondequoit's scoring. Emma Francis had seven saves in the loss. Pittsford did not submit a statistical report.

Pittsford improves to 11-3 with the win, while Irondequoit drops to 7-6. Both teams return to action on Saturday morning, when the Panthers host Schroeder and the Eagles visit Thomas.    [ Story and BOX SCORE
