Churchville-Chili Prevails Over Geneva
Churchville-Chili earned a 15-9 win over Geneva in a non-league matchup on May 15. The Saints built a 10-3 halftime lead to put the game out of reach.
For Churchville-Chili (10-5), Campbell Hewlett (4g) achieved two milestones in the game: her 100th career goal and her 200th career draw control. Shavonne Callahan added three goals and seven assists. Abigail DeVries (3g), Rorey Turk (3g/1a), and Mercy Payne (2g) rounded out the scoring for the Saints.
Geneva (9-3) was led by Velia DeMaria and Meghan Forbes, who each recorded three goals and an assist. Makenna Harris had two goals, and Maddie Askin recorded 10 saves in 48 minutes of play.
The Saints play their final regular season game next Thursday against Honeoye Falls-Lima. The Panthers will face Greece Storm on Saturday morning. [ Story and BOX SCORE]
