Thrilling Battles and Dominant Performances

DAY IN REVIEW: SATURDAY - South Jefferson (Section III) edged past Victor in a nail-biting 14-12 non-league clash. Irondequoit continued its recent dominance over Thomas with a 13-3 win. Pal-Mac scored five unanswered goals in the fourth quarter to secure a 13-7 triumph over Horseheads (section IV). Geneva at GreeceMercy fell just short in a tight 12-11 battle against Ithaca (section IV). Pittsford, Geneva, Penfield, and Eastridge/BK were among the other winners on a day filled with standout performances and milestone achievements. 

IRONDEQUOIT-13 at THOMAS-3 - Lucy Whipple (4g/3a) led the scoring for Irondequoit (8-6). Ellie Bottiglier added three goals, including the 50th of her varsity career. Irondequoit has now won six consecutive games against Thomas (4-10).    [ Story and BOX SCORE

JORDAN-ELBRIDGE-20 at MYNDERSE-ROMULUS-11 -  Chelsea Korzeniewski and Myah Herron each had four goals and two assists for Mynderse-Romulus (4-11).
