Leah Sheridan Scores in Overtime for CA
PENFIELD-10 at CANANDAIGUA-11 in overtime - Leah Sheridan scored the game-winner 38 seconds into overtime. It was the Gray Wolves' fifth win in a row; they have also won six of their last seven meetings with the Patriots.
Canandaigua built a 5-0 lead less than five minutes into the game, but Penfield knotted the game at six midway through the second quarter, and the teams traded goals from that point on.
Maci Mueller (3g/2a), Lola Schorr (3g/1a), Leah Sheridan (3g/2a), and Keira Gioseffi provided all the scoring for Canandaigua (5-1). Keira Gioseffi, Taylor Ennis-Chinn, and Leah Sheridan combined for 16 draw controls. Storie Blazak had seven saves to help preserve the win.
