Biggest Game Night Left This Season

With the final week of the regular season upon us, tonight was the biggest night of games left in the season.  The closest game tonight was Corning over Penn Yan 12-11 in overtime and Waterloo over Geneva 8-7 in overtime.  Other close games included, Brockport over Hilton 8-7, Irondequoit over Canandaigua 8-7 and Brighton over HFL 6-5.  Additional games were Churchville-Chili over Victor 11-7, Pittsford over Thomas 18-8, Fairport over Penfield 12-8, Arc/Oly over Gates Chili 15-6, Gananda over East Rochester 9-5, Wayne over Newark 12-7, Spencerport over Eastridge 19-2 and RH over Mercy 16-4.

Fairport defeated Penfield and a story was submitted HERE.

Wayne scored nine out of ten in their win.  A story was submitted HERE.

Brockport and Hilton trading the lead for much of the first half and then the Blue Devils took oer the lead in the second half.  A story was submitted HERE.

In one of the two overtime games, Waterloo's Sam Barnhart scored the game winner in overtime.  A story was submitted HERE.

Irondequoit scored the first goal and never trailed in their win over Canandaigua.  Although the Braves kept the game close, they never tied the Eagles.  Quinn Melidona and Annie Brennan scored two goals each to start the game and give Irondequoit the 4-0 lead.  Additional stats and scoring table are HERE.

Churchville-Chili won their fourth game of the season (out of the last five) over Victor.  Emily Hawryschuk led for the Blue Devils with 6g.  For the Saints, Katie Cosgrove had 7g-1a.  Additional stats are HERE.

Pittsford moved to 14-2 on the season with their win over Thomas.  Elizabeth Blanding (5g) and Maddie Miller (3g-2a) led in scoring for the Panthers.  Additional stats are HERE.

Gananda took the early lead and never looked back in their 9-5 win over East Rochester.  The Bombers were led by Madilynn Walsh with 3g.  The Blue Panthers had seven players make their book with Allison Stark (2g-2a) leading.  Additional stats are HERE.

Spencerport scored 11 in the first half and 8 more in the second in their win over Eastridge.  Emily Coykendall (5g-5a) led the charge.  In the cage, Olivia Schroeder played the first half and recorded a shutout with 7 saves.  Additional stats are HERE.

Rush-Henrietta outscored Mercy 9-1 in the first half.  Leading in scoring was Destinee Johnson (4g-1a), Emily Schillinger (3g-1a) and Kate Mashewske (2g-2a).  Additional stats are HERE.
