Last major night of the regular season.  With only two games tomorrow, the regular season is coming to a close.  Tomorrow at midnight (12:01 AM on 5/20/2016) the Sectional Seeding will be locked and the tournament brackets will be released.  An article will be published tomorrow with links to the brackets and the seeding for Class A, B and C.  Tonight there were 10 games scheduled, although only 9 have scores reported at the moment.

Marcus Whitman defeated East Rochester 11-7, CBA defeated HFL 18-6, Spencerport defeated Schroeder 8-5, Fairport defeated Hilton 18-9, Penfield defeated Skaneateles in four overtimes 8-7 and Webster Thomas defeated Waterloo 13-7.  The score are currently pending for Penn Yan vs. Ithaca.

Marcus Whitman scored the first goal of the game (Charlotte Alvord from Emily Thompson) and never trailed.  East Rochester had scoring from Madilynn Walsh (4g) and Allison Burns (3g).  The Wildcats were led by Thompson with 3g-2a.  Additional stats are HERE.

Spencerport scored the first four goals and never saw a tied score in their win over Webster Schroeder.  Natalie Choate finished with 4g to lead the Rangers.  They completed the regular season at 15-1 and had the best record in Section Five (the only team with a single loss).  Additional stats are HERE.

Fairport's Maddie Howe scored 6g to lead the Red Raiders.  Isabel Hofford played 45 minutes between the pipes and finished at 50% (7 saves).  Additional stats are HERE.

Penfield senior Kristen Baumer finished with 1g-3a in the overtime win vs. Skaneateles.  The game winning goal was scored by Emily Goebel (her second of the game).  Additional stats are HERE.

Thomas led 8-5 at the half and added another 5 goals in the second half.  Waterloo had six players make the offensive book with Logan Castiglione (3g) and Alberta Eshenour (1g-2a) leading for the Indians.  Additional stats are HERE.
