First multi-game day in Section Five
Three more games were played today with Wayne winning a close game 7-5 over Eastridge, Mynderse defeating Newark 17-4 and Brighton topping Hilton 20-6. Tomorrow has another 3 games scheduled.
Wayne scored the opening goal and never trailed in their 7-5 win over Eastridge. The Lancers fought back and tied the score 4-4 with the opening goal of the second half; however, Wayne added two more quick goals to secure the win. Mary Panepento led in scoring with 3g for the Eagles. Additional stats can be found HERE.
Mynderse scored nine goals in the first quarter on their way to a 17-4 win over Newark. Sadie Mapstone led with 4g-5a for the Blue Devils. Sarah Shaffer added 6g-1a in the win. Additional stats can be found HERE.
Brighton scored the first tweleve goals in their 20-6 win over Hilton. Meaghan McGwin (2g), Payton Cook (1g-1a) and Amanda Hilderbrandt (1g-1a) led in scoring for the Cadets. Additional stats can be found HERE.
