Canandaigua Holds off Late Advance

Peyton Smith finished with 4g-2a and was named "Five Star Bank Mortgage" Player of the Game.  The Braves led 12-10 after an 8m goal from Kenzie Lupton at 1:24 remaining in the game and held off a late advance by the Titans.  

Canandaigua came out of the gates strong and scored six of the first seven goals to lead 6-1 with 13:42 left in the first half.  The Titans pulled themselves together and scored the next six goals straight to take a 7-6 lead into halftime.  The second quarter was back and forth with both teams leading at different times.  With 8:00 remaining, Canandaigua scored to take a two goal lead (11-9).  The Titans stayed close, but the Braves held off the advance.  

Midfielder Clancy Rheude led in draw controls (4) and groundballs (6) for the Braves.  For Thomas, Nicole Voci led in scoring with 5g-3a.  Mary Soures (7) and Emily Glagolev (6) led in draw controls.
