There were seven games played today in Section Five.  Marcus Whitman defeated Gananda 14-10 in the highest scoring game of the night.  Eastridge over Wayne 5-4 was the closest game of the night with Thomas' 9-7 win over Hilton also a close contest.  In the lone game with an out-of-section opponent, West Genesee defeated HFL 11-5.

Thomas was led in scoring by Mary Soures who finished with 8g in their 9-7 win over Hilton.  Isabelle Robarge scored the ninth goal for the Titans.  She also led in draw controls with 3.  for Hilton, Logan Hibbard led with 2g-2a.  Fiona French (5) and Hibbard (4) led in draw controls with goalie Shaina Doser leading is ground balls (3) and caused turnovers (2).  Additional stats are HERE.

Waterloo scored 12 goals in the first half of their 16-9 win over Aquinas.  Sam Barnhart (5g-1a) and Logan Castiglione (3g-3a) led in scoring for the Indians.  Aubrey O'Brien led in draw controls with five. For the Little Irish, Sienna Hinchcliffe led with 2g-2a.  Brigid Flaherty led in draw controls (4) and ground balls (2).  Additional stats are HERE.

Spencerport defeated Greece Storm 15-4.  The Storm scored the first goal and held the lead for seven minutes before the Rangers scored eight unanswered goals.  Erin Coykendall led in scoring with 3g-6a. Natalie Choate added another 4g-1a to the count.  Erin also led her team in draw controls with 9 and caused turnovers with 4.  Greece was led by Madison Bodnar with 2g. Additional stats are HERE.
