Another Big Night of Games
With Brighton postponing their game versus Liverpool, there were nine games played tonight in Section Five. The closest match-up was Pittsford's double overtime win vs. Canandaigua 7-6 and Brockport's win over Gates-Chili 10-8. Other scores included, Churchville-Chili over Eastridge 16-4, Mercy over Magnificat 16-7, Pal-Mac over Gananda 15-1, Waterloo over Geneva 15-2, Fairport over Thomas 14-5, Victor over HFL 16-8 and Spencerport over Schroeder 16-5.
Spencerport scored the first four goals and never trailed in their 16-5 win over Webster Schroeder. Leading in scoring for Schroeder was Annie Mulhall with 4g. Goalie Jorden Concordia led in groundballs with 5. For Spencerport, Camryn Sack led with 4g-3a. Erin Coykendall added another 3g-3a. Victor scored 12 goals in the second half in their 16-8 win over HFL. The Blue Devils had nine players make their offensive book with Lucy Haggerty leading with 4g-2a. Danielle Colucci added 4g to the total. Olivia Bruno led in draw controls with 7. Additional stats are HERE.
Waterloo defeated Geneva 15-2. The Indians were led in scoring by Riley Corey (6g-1a) Madison DeFrancesco (4g-2a) and Kari Jensen (3g-3a). Marissa Russell finished with 4 draw controls and DeFrancesco finished with 6 caused turnovers. Additional stats are HERE.
Pal-Mac scored 11 goals in the first half on their way to a 15-1 win over Gananda. Scoring for Gananda was Sadie Kraft. For the Red Raiders, Jamie Walker led with 2g-4a. Andra Savage added 3g-2a and Emma Arnold added 3g-1a. Seven different players had 1 point. Additional stats are HERE.
Churchville-Chili defeated Eastridge 16-4. The Saints were led by Andrianna Gruttadauria with 4g-2a. Alaina Reina finished with a team leading 5 draw controls. She also recorded 2 ground balls and 1 caused turnover. As a team the Saints finished with 14 caused turnovers. Additional stats are HERE.
