Seven Games on Friday

There were seven games scheduled tonight with two concluding in overtime.  R-H defeated Canandaigua (12-11) in the 2nd overtime period and Schroeder defeated HFL (11-10) in their second overtime period.  The score for Thomas vs. Hilton is still pending.  Remaining scores included Eastridge over Gates Chili 17-3, Fairport over Churchville-Chili 19-2 and Pittsford over Victor 16-4.  Spencerport defeated Notre Dame Academy (MA) 11-10.

Annie Mulhall scored the game winning goal in the second overtime period to give Webster Schroeder the 11-10 win over HFL.  The game was back and forth with HFL leading the majority of the time.  In the first overtime period, Webster won the draw, but the HFL defense held them scoreless for the entire 3 minutes.  There was only a single shot by the Warriors with seconds left in the first overtime period. In the second overtime period, Schroeder won the draw again, but this time HFL took over possession early.  They took their time on offense and took a good shot with 0:20 left on the clock.  Goalie Jorden Concordia made a strong save (her 13th of the game) and quickly fed the ball upfield for a fast-break.  Mulhall dodged several defenders and came up with the win.

During regulation, the game was tied five times, including three times in the second half.  With 3:06 remaining in regulation HFL took the lead again with Caylin Perryman scoring unassisted.  Schroeder forced the tie with 0:57 left when Abby Moon assisted Stefanie Sellitto for the goal.  Lexie Ruff lead in scoring for the Cougars with 3g-1a.  Eliza Wild led in draw controls with 5.  Mulhall was the leading scoring for the Warriors with 5g-2a.  She also led in draw controls with 9.  Additional stats are HERE.

Eastridge spread out their scoring in their 17-3 win over Gates Chili.  Nine different players made the offensive scorebook with Emily Beaumont (3g-2a) and Skye Gaudio (5g) leading with 5 points each.  Suzanna Wojnowski led in draw controls with five.  Gaudio led in ground balls with six and Makaila Greenhagen led in caused turnovers with 4.  Additional stats are HERE.

Spencerport's Erin Coykendall led in scoring with 5g-3a with Camryn Sack adding 3g-4a.  During the contest, Coykendall recorded her 300th Varsity goal.  The Rangers won the first of two back to back out of town contests 11-10 against Notre Dame Academy (MA), after winning the second half 3-2.  Additional stats are HERE.

Fairport defeated Churchville-Chili 19-2.  The Saint's goals were scored by Alaina Reina and Paige Temperato.  Additional stats are HERE.
