Tuesday of Break Week
There were five more games tonight in the 2nd day of break week. Mercy's 14-13 overtime win vs. Victor was the closest match-up of the night. Also, Pittsford defeated HFL 9-8 and Eastridge defeated Wayne 7-6 in a single goal games. Additional scores were Suffern over Irondequoit 11-8 and Fairport over Hilton 16-10.
Eastridge held off a late advance by Wayne to defeat the Eagles 7-6. The Lancers scored six of their seven goal in the first half. Leading in scoring was Skye Gaudio with 4g. Gaudio and Suzanna Wojnowski each recorded 2 draw controls. Additional stats are HERE.
Mercy came from behind the defeat Victor 14-13 in the first overtime period. The Blue Devils led 8-4 at the half and held the lead until late in regulation. With 0:29 remaining, the Monarchs scored the tying goal with Dylan Rawleigh scoring off a feed from Caroline Murphy. Murphy then scored the game winning with 1:18 remaining in the first overtime period. Murphy led in scoring for the Monarchs with 7g-1a. Kristyn Johnson also finished with eight points (3g-5a). Fairport defeated Hilton 16-10 tonight. The Cadets were led in scoring by Sydney Carpenter with 1g-4a. Fiona French added 2g-2a to the total. Carpenter and Logan Hibbard each recorded 4 draw controls to lead. Hibbard also led in ground balls (7) and caused turnovers (5). Additional stats are HERE.
Pittsford led 6-5 at the half in their 9-8 win over HFL. The Cougars had six players make their offensive scorebook with Lexie Luff (3g) leading. Emma Calcagni and Eliza Wild led in draw controls with 3 each. Additional stats are HERE.
Suffern defeated Irondequoit 11-8 after leading 6-4 at the half. Bridget Inclema led in scoring with 1g-2a. Marina Butler led in draw controls (3) and caused turnovers (2), while Maddie Greene led in ground balls (3). Additional stats are HERE.
