Single Close Game and Multiple Blowouts

There were 10 games scheduled tonight with most being extremely one sided.  The close matchup was Rush-Henrietta defeating Penfield 13-12.  Additional scores were Pittsford over Hilton 19-4, Spencerport over HFL 11-5, Brighton over Brockport 22-1, Canandaigua over Churchville-Chili 14-7, Victor over Thomas 7-5, Schroeder over Gates Chili 17-1, Irondequoit over Eastridge 17-2 and Fairport over Greece Storm 16-5.

Spencerport and HFL played a close half before the Rangers pulled away in the second half and won 11-5.  Erin Coykendall led in draw controls with 10 and caused turnovers with 3.  Camryn Sack led in scoring with 3g-2a.  Additional stats are HERE.

Brighton scored 15 in the first half on their way to a 22-1 win over Brockport.  Annie Perillo led in scoring for Brighton with 6 points (2g-4a).  Susan Lafountain (3g-2a), Delaney McManus (1g-3a) and Kassidy Wimot (1g-3a) also added a high point count.  Katie Lederman led her team with 5 draw controls and Morgan Atwater led in ground balls with 3.  Additional stats are HERE.

Victor defeated Thomas 7-5 tonight.  Thomas has three players each finish with 2 points.  Molly McCabe and Cate Robarge each recorded 2g with Isabelle Robarge recording 1g-1a.  Jillian Gallanti and Olivia Scott each added 2 draw controls for the Titans.  Additional stats are HERE.

Schroeder scored 12 in the first half of their 17-1 win over Gates Chili.  The Warriors were led in scoring by Annie Mulhall with 6g-1a.  Ella Dossier (2g-1a), Samantha Knight (2g-1a) and Maddie Ugine (3g) each added three points to the totals.  Additional stats are HERE.

Irondequoit increased their record to 4-4 with a 17-2 win over Eastridge.  The inter-town game had Irondequoit leading 9-0 at the half.  The Eagles scoring was spread out across 11 players with Marina Butler leading with 3g-2a.  Bridget (2g-2a) and Erika Sherwood (1g-3a) added four points each.  Maira Brennan led in draw controls with 4 and Jaelyn Clinkscales led in groundballs with 4.  Additional stats are HERE.

Fairport led 12-3 at the half of their 16-5 win over Greece Storm.  The Storm scoring was split across 4 players with Jazmine Darling (1g-1a) and Mackenzie Gibaud (2g) finishing with 2 points and Leanza Gibaud (1g) and Kelsey Nugent (1g) finishing with 1 point.  Darling led her team with 8 draw controls.  Additional stats are HERE.
