Big Night of Games on Wednesday

There were 13 games scheduled for tonight with two games coming down to a single goal: Rush-Henrietta over Spencerport 13-12 and Livonia over Geneva 12-11.  Remaining scores included Irondequoit over Greece 10-3, Newark-Midlakes over Eastridge 9-7, Penn Yan over Waterloo 8-5, Fairport over Victor 13-9, Wayne over Gates-Chili 15-5, Brighton over Penfield 10-5, Hilton over Brockport 15-0, Mynderse-Romulus over Aquinas 11-9, Pittsford over Thomas 12-6, Canandaigua over HFL 15-6 and Mercy over Schroeder 13-8.

Livonia defeated Geneva 12-11.  Senior Megan Kerr returned from an injury and finished the game with 5g for the Panthers.  Lauren DeVaney finished with a team leading 2g-4a.  Additional stats are HERE.

Fairport came back from a one goal deficit at the half (6-5) to defeat Victor 13-9.  Leading in scoring for Fairport was Morgan Schwab with 7g-2a.  She also finished with a team leading 7 draw controls.  Additional stats are HERE.

Penn Yan and Waterloo played the first half to a tie (4-4) before the Mustangs took off in the second half to defeat the Indians 8-5.  Leading in scoring for the Indians was Kaitlin Jolly with 2g.  The Mustangs were led by Grace Ledgerwood with 1g-3a.  Hayley Anderson and Jammie Decker each recorded 4 draw controls for Penn Yan.  Additional stats are HERE.

Irondequoit defeated Greece 10-3 after leading 4-2 at the half.  The Storm were led by Kelsey Nugent (2g) and Makenna Misiurewicz (2a).  Nugent also had a team leading 3 draw controls.  For the Eagles, Marina Butler (2g-2a) led the offense and defense (4 draw controls).  Maeve Brennan led in groundballs (4) and caused turnovers (2).  Additional stats are HERE.

Wayne defeated Gates Chili 15-5.  Casey Hibbard led in with 3g-4a for the Eagles.  Additional stats are HERE.

Mercy led 8-1 at the half before defeating Schroeder 13-8.  Schroeder was led by Abby Moon (2g-1a) and Haley Botlon (3g).  Bolton also led in draw controls with 7 and Moon added another 5.  For the Monarchs, Kristyn Johnson led with 4g-3a.  Caroline Murphy (4g-2a) and Karli Harnischfeger (4g) also added to the count.  Johnson also led in draws with 6.  Additional stats are HERE.

Pittsford defeated Thomas 12-6.  The Titans had six players make their offensive book with Grace Burns (2g), Maddie Quinlan (1g-1a) and Cate Robarge (2a) each adding 2 points.  Additional stats are HERE.

RH defeated Spencerport 13-12.  The Royal Comets held a 13-7 lead with 10 minutes remaining in the game before the Rangers added the final five goals to pull within one.  Natalie Choate scored the 12th Ranger goal with 0:01 left on the clock.  Leading in scoring for Spencerport was Lily DePalma with 4g-2a.  Camryn Sack (4g) and Erin Coykendall (4a) also added to the total.  Additional stats are HERE.

Brighton defeated Penfield 10-5.  The Barons were led by Susan Lafountain with 3g-1a.  Megan Marangola led in draws with 5.  Piper Davis added another 4.  Eileen Kelly and Lafountain each finished with 3 caused turnovers.  Additional stats are HERE.

Canandaigua defeated HFL 15-6.  When updated, additional stats will be HERE.
