DAY IN REVIEW: THURSDAY -  In Thursday night action, the visiting team was victorious in all four games.

MYNDERSE-ROMULUS 14 - NEWARK-MIDLAKES 6  - Mynderse-Romulus faced Newark-Midlakes in the first game of the season for both teams and the Blue Devils prevailed, 14-6.   There were no statistics reported from either team at post time.  Both teams resume play the week of April 10.   [BOXSCORE]

BROCKPORT-9 - EASTRIDGE 7  -    In a tightly contested match at Eastridge, Brockport defeated the Lancers by a score of 9-7.  There were no statistics reported from Brockport at post time.  Ada Krupa had four goals for the Lancers, while Melody Gaudio recorded nine saves.  The Blue Devils' next game is their home opener against Churchville-Chili on April 12.  Eastridge hosts Thomas on April 10.   [BOXSCORE] 

HONEOYE FALLS-LIMA 15 - CHURCHVILLE-CHILI 4  -   The opener of the 2023 season was good for the HF-L Cougars as they pulled out a 15-4 win over the Saints from Churchville-Chili.  Both Shaye Angelo and Paige Kidd led the Cougars on the circle, Angelo tallying nine draw controls and Kidd five.  The Cougars were led on offense by Shaye Angelo with four goals and two assists.  Shavonne Callahan, Lexi Finnegan, Campbell Hewlett, and Rory Turk each scored for the Saints.  HF-L travels to Irondequoit on Friday to face the Eagles in their second game of the year. The Saints will take the field next on April 10 when they host Gananda-Marion.   [BOXSCORE] 

MERCY 14 - WATERLOO-MARCUS WHITMAN 10  -   Mercy rallied from a 7-5 halftime deficit to defeat Waterloo-Marcus Whitman, 14-10.  There were no statistics reported from Mercy at post time. For Waterloo-Marcus Whitman, Maci Mueller and Natalie Disanto each scored four times.  Madycyn Hurdle (10s) had a strong game in goal.  The Monarchs return to the field Friday when they visit Canandaigua.  Waterloo-Marcus Whitman takes on Penn Yan on April 10.   [BOXSCORE]
